LTE Plus / Enhanced LTE (was "Sprint Spark" - Official Name for the Tri-Band Network)

A Magnetbox might prove to be entertaining in a number of ways, if truth in advertising was involved.

A cathode ray tube is, by definition, a "magnet box."

True, but I was thinking somewhere in the middle ground between that and this:

Sprint must be getting ready to kill the Spark name entirely. My note 5 doesn't have a Spark splash screen anymore, its not on Sprints website as far as device features anymore either. The only way to find it is on the coverage map. I think they are just going to call it enhanced LTE like Virgin and boost soon.

This has been underway for a while.

Just noticed now, interesting.

I'm glad. Spark was confusing and a stupid idea from the get go. Make sure its a fast and painful death.

Am I the only one who liked the spinning spark logo and the boot intro and even the spark icon down to the name.

You're not the only one. I too liked "Spark", but its application was confusing. Perhaps it is better used as a name for a carrier.

I actually love the spinning spark logo because you see much better if data is being transferred or not.

Looks hella dope when you're pulling down 70Mbps with that Spinning Sun logo ;)

AT&T's Animation is wack, Verizon is Wack, T-Mobile has none and Sprin'ts looks awesome

Kinda have to agree... and I absolute hate Verizon's it's always grainy looking and just bleh.

The sun just has that "cool" vibe to it. You know like the surfer dude who throws you the hang loose sign at you and says "bruh!" No? Maybe that's just me...  :P

Austin, Houston, and San Antonio were some of the markets that was part of the 77 announced markets with both CA and Beamforming, but is that even possible on Clearwire equipment? Because those markets are filled with it. 8t8r radio here and there, but mostly old Clearwire equipment in most areas of the cities.

Beamforming should be experienced at Sprint B41 8T8R sites where 4 tx antennas are visible to your device.  AFAIK, it will not be available on Clearwire B41 sites, and not at Sprint B41 sites still operating 2x mode.

Do we have a list of devices that support LTE+?

I just chatted with a Sprint rep and she said the list was not available yet, despite the fact that the news release says Sprint has 13 devices that support LTE+ currently available.

Basically any device that supports CA on B41. So, think any device since the Galaxy S6/HTC M9.
