The package weighs in at 364.54MB' date=' um that is pretty large. Seems like people might need to wipe some stuff off the phone to install...[/quote']

The JB update for the S3 came in at 270 mb range

I think the GS3 and the EVO LTE are remarkable pieces of hardware, but the GS3 seems to have fewer hardware issues and received the JB update first. Everything's all topsy turvy. I got the EVO because my OG EVO was always at the forefront and was essentially impeccable hardware, and the Samsung phones were rife with GPS and other problems that come with cheap plasticy phones.

This really pains me to say it BUT my mother just got a GS3 and I played with it for awhile and i was impressed.

Love the Note2 feel. First phone that fits my hands. When typing my thumbs don't feel claustrophobic to each other.

No more HTC for me. I mapped a lot of 1x with that phone lately on sensorly. After the touch pro and tp2 fun with swapping those out for keyboard issues all the time I gave them another chance with the EVO LTE. Maybe in 5 years or so.. And I will definitely not be buying it on launch day, it will be a few months after.

How did you get it? Did you buy it outright or trade in your EVO LTE? Did you sell your EVO LTE or go to a store and request another phone due to the LTE issues on the EVO? Thanks

Sold some old tech I had and didn't need. Then used my other lines upgrade and donated the EVO to them.

There is another leak that says people got Jelly been for EVO before they pulled it. The date they say will be December 2nd. Ugh another few days, but that seems kinda early to since the One S does not have it unless i missed something.

That's not happening either, and no noone got the update at all before so dunno how that story got twisted through the grapevine...

The leak say it was due to higher than exspected sales at black friday that the update was pulled. Sever load for activation would have given new customers a bad tast in their mouth. So they pulled it till the 2nd of December.

The other thing I heard is that they pulled the update because HTC/Sprint wanted to modify stability with Sense UI....

Only time will tell the story I guess....

Tested Flash on my friends S3 with Jelly Bean and it worked in native browser but not in chrome. I'm good to go when it comes out. Whenever that may be!!! :D

I heard there was a rumor that there was a rumor that there was a memo that said there might be an upgrade to the rumor generator.

My general rule is to believe half of official memos and no rumors.

Well to hear something is better than nothing... I am sure there was a reason you brought up this page other than clicking on the check for update. I like shareing info with others. If the update does not come out on Dec 2nd I'll keep it to myself but this date just seems right to me and maybe i am just hopeful.
