That is what happens when you give a lot of free candies away, Now Mr. Periscope has them eating from his hands. He basically built a cult. The people do speed tests getting less than one megabits down, and the excuse is: tower congested, dont worry about it will be fixed.

wow that's a great deal for a family/business of 4 or larger, looks like the price of unlimited is coming back down in price. considering that one line is $95 for unlimited and 4 lines is now $37.50/line that is one heck of a discount of course this promotion does not include hot spot, but that can be added if you need it.

The only reason T-Mobile makes it available for existing customers is that 99.9999% of their base is already on an installment billing plan, separate from their account plan, so it's easier to shift customers around on their plans. That also means that legacy codes would get erased when the plans get changed, thus removing the "grandfathered benefit" concept.

Every now and then they offer it to existing customers.

It was announced by AT&T about two weeks after this promo started that 500k people had signed up under the plan.  Includes existing and new customers.  That is a lot of potential customers that TMo could have acquired or kept.  Im sure the $30 undercutting is there to offset any savings going under a single TV+Cellular provider umbrella.
