jamesinclair
Are the NV running list percentages going to be updated to reflect the 200 sites that were accepted last week? I guess since its so close to new week that the number of sites can be lumped into this upcoming week and be updated. Hoping to see more progress made in LA Metro and NYC since Sprint needs to get those markets closer to being launch ready as well as major progress in Chicago so that they can hurry up and move its crews to other Samsung markets which are in need of getting started. It looks like the running list is being updated every 2 weeks. In the past it was just monthly I think.

teamgs3
New Orleans market hasn't changed at all and I know we have towers completed so why has nothing change on the list.
bobbi
Check the last post in the running list thread. It hasn't been updated since 12/26. The numbers will change when Robert gets around to updating them. I assume he will once again post the updated message when he his done. Patience. mdob07
Should this be pinned to the top with the thread it relates to? Thought it got deleted or something until I found it at the bottom of the page.
digiblur
Wow.. Isn't the map enough? This thread is just a bonus. You could always use the sprint.com, map and press releases instead. -- "Sensorly or it didn't happen!"

Thought it got deleted or something until I found it at the bottom of the page. I don't want it pinned. Lots of pinned things already. I think I have a link inside the actual running list. So that should be sufficient for those people reading the Running List, but want to comment on it. Robert
mdob07
Ok that works. Doesn't bother me either way as I know where to look for it now. Just thought I'd point it out in case it had been overlooked.

iansltx
I'm sure there will be. By the way, I didn't get a chance to "run the numbers" until last night, so putting the Running List up from those numbers would be an exercise in outdated-ness, but Of NV-complete sites, over half in Boston now have 4G. Some even have 1x SMR Chicago is 77.5% NV complete. About 63% of that amount have 4G online. There are more updates (Shentel got a big boost) but those were arguably the biggest ones last week.

Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2 I don't think you get what I meant. I meant to say that Sprint still needs to continue to make progress and hopefully every week they are getting at least 400-500 sites done a week nationwide. ericdabbs
Sorry to bug you guys but do you think the running list will be updated sometime soon? I am sure it will but Robert has been a busy man. When he has time to do so he will do it. In the mean time, I'll be looking for his updates to the NV complete sites list to see what new areas have 3G improvements and LTE lit up. I would recommend that you become a sponsor so that you have access to the NV complete sites list so you can find out which sites in Los Angeles have been lit up with 3G improvements and LTE.
aerxx
Chicago at 86%.....amazing. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Forum Runner
ericdabbs
Wow Chicago at 86% is amazing. I am pretty sure the 86% only means the number of sites that have had some sort of NV upgrades and not the full upgrades for each tower including 3G/4G/800. supert0nes
I wonder if future markets can do all upgrades at once? It's taken so many individual upgrades to each tower in Chicago. Sent from phone
ericdabbs
I don't understand why they don't just accept 3G and 4G at once? I would rather have the engineers and inspectors take the extra hours to inspect the towers to be ready for 3G and 4G and be done with the tower. It just seems like they make unnecessary trips back to those sites. I guess the main reason why most towers are accepted as 3G only in Alcatel markets may be due to backhaul issues which they can't accept 4G at the same time as 3G if backhaul is not ready. What you're really saying is you wish they would wait and not let the complete technology be usable until they all are ready at a site. Because that is what would happen if they tried to do what you want them to do. I don't want that at all. Also, don't assume that just because one technology is accepted, doesn't mean they both were not installed at the same time. In most cases, the hardware for all technologies are installed at the same time. For instance, almost always at Samsung sites, CDMA 1900, CDMA 800 and LTE 1900 are all installed at once. In your frustration, you are making faulty assumptions. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD

Is it to the point that most non-4G upgrades include that now? I know in their haste to get 3G running and get rid of the less than friendly Motorola sites in the beginning they might not have had time. However at this point I feel like they probably could afford to go ahead and do 800 with it. What do you think?

About 3/4 of the new sites in Chicago now for instance go live with both 3G and 800 at the same time. I know that in all Samsung markets, CDMA 800 is being deployed side by side with 3G and LTE. They just cannot be tested and accepted until the channels are cleared. Also, most Ericsson markets are deploying 800 on full build sites too now. I assume AlcaLu is too, but I do not have specific affirmation of that. Robert via Nexus 7 using Forum Runner
