Network Vision/LTE - New York City Market

although it might have triband, i think HTC is a little to late into the game. only has snapdragon 600 for a flagship, 4megapixel camera, etc. i think LG g2 is a better phone overall. I will just wait and see has triband pan out in nyc

Tri-Band is definitely worth it now, and into the future with Sprint in NYC. I can tell you now, TD-LTE is pretty far ahead in NYC!!! Premier Sponsorship has its perks!!!

Where NYC lags in 800, it's ahead in 2500/2600 Mhz.

It's a real shame. Everyone thought that TD-LTE was just a simple software switch, but apparently not. They have the spectrum available and they should try to utilize it ASAP.

TD-LTE is getting deployed way faster because of the backhaul from WiMax being in place. I woukd venture to say that most of the Wimax towers in Brooklyn and the Bronx have been coverted.

It is being used. More cities have 2600 than hav

Uhh... not sure what you're talking about. No one EVER said TD-LTE was a simple switch. It requires new RRUs and in some cases new antennas for dual WiMax/LTE support. It's already live across a good portion of the NYC sites, and a new large batch is slated to be live soon.

Not sure where u heard that LTE 2600 was a switch. It was very clear in the beginning that new rrus needed to be installed to support TD LTE

Yes you will. 1900 and 25/2600MHz LTE are available right now, and 800 LTE will be available soon.

Nice. So LG G2 it is.I will have to wait till Dec. to switch to One Up Program but Exciting times 4 sure.Thx ...

In other news, I felt like I was in the future today while I was in Ikea's eating area. I was connected to LTE and CDMA 800 at the same time.

Lol you go to ikea a lot. You need that much furniture or is it the actual 800 connection that makes you come back so often?

I moved to my new home in February so I go back often. Today my Grandmother wanted to return something and my mother wanted to return a rug so we just went. The food is just a part of the experience. I rarely ever go without stopping for food.

I expect sprint to get similar speeds on Band 41, of course when you have nobody riding on that frequency you can reach pretty optimal speeds as this Verizon example.
