You don't get the 50gb per month hotspot or is that not enough for you?

I forgot to post that when my phone dropped from WiFi Calling to LTE calling while I was on the phone with Magic Box support, the VoLTE icon popped up in the top right corner. I'm on the OneUI beta with an unlocked S9+.

Nice! We're you connected to the MB while on the call?

I don't have Calling Plus on my phone, only WiFi Calling was enabled.

I cannot get calling plus enabled on my g965u1. Anyone know if there is a workaround with shortcut master or another way to do this?

I am eagerly waiting for VoLTE on my unlocked S9. It has been incredible frustrating especially here in LA. Google maps is needed to get around unforeseen traffic problems, but will not update if I am on a call. Since I am usually chatting on the phone while driving longer distances, it would be a huge help! Given that Android P seems to be moving through beta well, hopefully it is implemented in the next month or so! If that comes with VoLTE enabled I will be a happy camper.

Side-note I have been with Sprint since 2003 or so. I don't really understand all the concerns with network. It's honestly oddly exciting to keep getting updates instead of having everything just available. Am I the only one who feels this way?

Hopefully you are also using the Google Maps off-line feature for your main driving areas, which would then speed up the traffic reporting when you have data signal since less map data would be needed at that time.  Sprint drive would also help, but of course more $$.

I don't really use google maps offline, since the second I hang up the call it updates instantly. I just have to keep calls short or do the hang up, call back game. Traffic can be so weird in LA. One example, driving from airport at 1 am, there was an accident on a major freeway closing all lanes. If I didn't have maps on it would never have told me to take an earlier exit to avoid a 20 minute parking lot jam. That being said I wasn't on the phone, but this kind of thing happens in large cities all the time. Just knowing the city well won't help at all.

There's a new Beta update out today. It brings back the "close all" button for 3rd party launchers and is very, very snappy and fluid all around. Good updates in this Beta. Still have to try out the LTE calling on this one as the last version was flaky for me when I called my wife on LTE calling. We will see....

Oh yeah, the shutter sound toggle is stiiiiillll there. Hopefully it stays! I'm not holding my breath.

Weird I didn't get a notification from the Samsung Members app about a new update, but there it was glad the clock is fixed had to install Google's clock app which isn't as nice.

Its almost time for the next iteration of Samsung's Galaxy Phones! I'm planning on pre-ordering either the S20+ or Ultra. Current Rumors have it going on Pre-order February 11.  Let the discussion commence...

Samsung Network Vision equipment are highly distinct and fairly easy to spot compared to the equipment that other vendors are deploying. Sprint is Samsung's first extremely massive American contract (baring Clearwire) so there  should be no issues in confusing these equipment for another carrier which happens often with Ericsson NV equipment.

Below are images of Samsung equipment which includes antennas, remote radio units, base stations, and their mounting configurations.

      Sprint 4G Rollout Updates
      Tuesday, January 31, 2012 - 7:46 PM MST

Since last fall, there had been talk of a Samsung Galaxy Nexus launching on American carriers other than Big Red. Sprint has finally announced several weeks ago that it is the another vendor slated for release in the U.S. Suffice to say, many of us out there, especially those adverse to heading to Verizon and paying its premium prices, are excited about the impending release.
The good news is that Google could be working on an updated version of the Galaxy Nexus. It has unofficially been dubbed the Galaxy Nexus Plus. There is much anticipation that it will be released before Sprint turns on LTE this summer. It’s not the first time an OEM has refreshed a device and re-released it to the market place, which works to our advantage. It’s rumored that the new Galaxy Nexus will have either a 1.5 or 1.8 GHz Texas Instrument OMAP4670 dual core processor. This would be a significant upgrade from the 1.2 GHz dual core processor found in the current Verizon version.
We don’t know anything about official specs, but it’s also rumored to have an 8 MP camera. This is a noteworthy upgrade to the 5 MP shooter on the Verizon model (which has been lauded by many techies). We already know that the Sprint model will come installed with Google Wallet, per previous announcements. Some rumors also point to a beefier battery as well. The phone should have all the other features that’s on the current Galaxy Nexus, so now all we have to do is wait.

    • T-Mo has been adding the N41 panels to their sites in Phoenix the past couple of weeks. I would imagine they will be either stealing a couple of the Sprint carriers or killing my MB relay channel soon. I think they have enough bandwidth here to keep it all running for now though. We will see, I'm on Sprint and I'm connected to B41 90% of the time outdoors. To lose that would suck to say the least. Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
    • Ok that's the one exception. This Kentucky boy can definitely throw down with some fried chicken!
    • I'm fairly certain I saw a T-Mobile site with the N41 antennas added near 6th and I-25. Unfortunately couldn't really stop to take a closer look. Still have a device locked to the Sprint network so couldn't tell what signal was there.
    • August security update out for Sprint version
    • I moved to TMobile two weeks ago. Service has been exemplary at my home. Cell one block away -95db signal usually 3 to 4 iPhone bars. Today I noticed the signal was much weaker. -110db 2 iPhone bars. I don’t see any crews at the cell site so I’m wondering if this is a temporary outage or did the cell get shut down. Is there any way to determine this? What’s weird also the cell I’m connecting to now is a mile away (versus a city block) and my Apple Watch still gets two dots signal strength. Does this sound reasonable for a 30 foot cell that far away which is LTE band 2 and 66 capable. With the exception of the watch I’ve been using cellmapper.net to determine the cells I’m using based on PCI numbers.
