There might be some markets where there is more bandwidth on the non B41's .. I really dont know but recall talk of going from 5Mhz to 10Mhz.. Does this ring a bell to anyone?

Aj made this chart a while back... I do not have a link to it

Well some markets have 2 5x5 B25 LTE carriers in areas (Chicago for one), but there aren't any 10x10 carriers on B25 or B26 and probably never will be.

LTE Bands 25 & 26 are limited to 5x5 configs. LTE Band 41 is being deployed in a 20MHz configuration, however, in some markets where Sprint is constrained on spectrum(hopefully rare or reserved for 2nd or 3rd Band 41 carriers), it can be 5, 10, or 15 MHz carriers.

So what's the difference between 2 5x5's and a single? Is capacity double?

Ultimately the only difference between two 5x5's and one 10x10 is peak speed. 5x5 theoretical max speed is like 37.5 Mbps where 10x10 is twice that; also wider channels tend to perform a but better at fringe areas; but from a capacity standpoint there really isn't an advantage of the larger channel.

Anyone with iPhone 6, try downloading pogo games and see if it loads please...

Just picked up 64gb + for the wife, is newest iOS update good to go?

No hagging issues like update 8.0.1 but I'm sure 8.0.3 will address more small bugs

Wow,

when I was at the store ordering my phone, they couldn't even print my Easy Pay agreement, only my receipt, and that's the number that's on my receipt. And I can't even get my Easy Pay agreement on MySprint. Plus, they had me put my email in, and the system never emailed my agreement to me at all.

Same here.

At this point in time, there's no point in ordering a 6 online or in store, especially if you live in a large city. You should be able to find one by calling around. The plus, however, may be a different story. I randomly called 2 Sprint corporate store in my area, and the second one had a grey 64gb 6, and a gold 16gb 6, 4 days after launch. Just have to get lucky.

I've called around to local Corp Sprint stores and Best Buy. All seem to have "plenty" of 6's and there are a few 16gb 6+'s as well. 64 and 128 gb are hard to come by.

That's how it is here. Plenty of 6+s 16 gb but no 64 or 128

My 6 did this a few days into me having it. I didn't notice any change after so I've no clue what it actually does.

    • I think the push for them is adding US Mobile as a MVNO with a priority data plan.  Ultimately, making people more aware of priority would allow them (and other carriers) to differentiate themselves from MVNOs like Consumer Cellular that advertise the same coverage. n77 has dramatically reduced the need for priority service at Verizon where the mere functioning of your phone was in jeopardy a couple of years ago if you had a low priority plan like Red Pocket. Only have heard of problems with T-Mobile in parts of Los Angeles. AT&T fell in between. All had issues at large concerts and festivals, or sporting events if your carrier has no on-site rights. Edit: Dishes native 5g network has different issues: not enough sites, limited bandwidth. Higher priority would help a few. Truth is they can push phones to AT&T or T-Mobile.
    • Tracfone AT&T sims went from QCI 8 to 9 as well a couple years ago. I'm pretty neutral towards AT&T's turbo feature here, the only bad taste left was for those who had unadvertised QCI 7 a couple months ago moved down to 8. In my eyes it would have been a lot better for AT&T to include turbo in those Premium/Elite plans for free to keep them at QCI 7, while also introducing this turbo add on option for any other plans or devices. As it stands now only a handful of plans can add it, and only if you're using a device on a random list of devices AT&T considers to be 5G smartphones.
    • My Red Pocket AT&T GSMA account was dropped to QCI 9 about a year ago.  Most recently 8 for the last few years prior.  Voice remains at 5.
    • https://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2024/05/att-announces-7-monthly-add-on-fee-for-turbo-5g-speeds/ Hopefully we don't ever see T-Mobile do something like this. Based on how I was treated with my Credit Limit, it's definitely not the same company it was before the merger, and it's entirely possible they'd try it.
