  1. man, would love to see someone pick this back up and update it. Even adding a carrier aggregation column would be cool.
  2. I'm sure that's wrong. I'm also sure they've prob never heard of it and know nothing about it.
  3. Nothing to do with wifi. (I am curious if it still works when you are using the Wifi calling feature though). It pulls the info from the CNAP Directory..google it, that's what I know.
  4. Agreed. It would be nice. You must be overpaying with Sprint if you talking about it. Sprint has some good plans.
  5. Nice. I'm getting this tomorrow. New Sprint feature. Premium Caller ID shows the name and number of the caller when they are calling you from landline, IP, or cell phone. $2.99/month That's a first! S3/S4/S5/Note4 4s/5/5c/5s/6/6+ compatible right now.
  6. Sprint iPhone 5c and 5s using iOS 8 also to get wifi calling.
  7. Don't know if this has been said yet(tried to search first) -- iPhone 6/6+ Sprint Wifi Calling update targeted no later than early 2015.
  8. I wonder if Tmobile has gone to one pricing model for both their consumer and business customers. I've found pricing on Sprint if you get set up as a business account is much better than what I had on Framily and prev UnlMyWay. For $30 I get 2GB data, hotspot, direct connect (I don't really use it). The data pools together - I have 3 phones so 6GB. And then I added a tablet for $10 and it just shares in the data pool. I recently got the new LivePro hotspot/projector. That's $35/month and adds I think another 3GB..so I actually have about 9GB total. I like the idea of pooling between all my devices. I think I lucked out too b/c they offered double the data on the phones than normal. I'm glad I got in on that before it ended otherwise I'd only have about 6GB to play with. If I need more data, there is a 4GB and Unl data option on the phones I was told.
  9. I'm curious to see if they'll open up the discounts to folks choosing BYOD and not only Easy Pay as it is currently stated. and if you're existing Sprint, and out of contract, creative ways exist to make you a new Sprint customer.
  10. Just a guess, but I'm guessing they will cave and make it available for existing as well. It is total BS as it stands right now. Definitely not 'uncarrier'. Hopefully Marcello's team keeps their ears to the ground right away on this and can react quickly.
  11. Verizon waiting until 2016 to deploy LTE-only devices. It is interesting to see how each carrier is going about or discussing their VoLTE plans. http://www.fiercewireless.com/story/verizon-launch-volte-q4-delays-first-lte-only-phones-2016/2014-08-12 How big of a deal is VoLTE really the next couple of years? (Well for Sprint users, probably a bigger deal than some --due to no SVDO/SVLTE right now on Spark devices). But I wonder if it's that important if a carrier launches 2015 versus 2016 for example.
  12. Oh, yeah I do -- have a biz account now. I have a personal account but just started a biz acct to take advantage.
  13. I got mine. Got $100 off it too. So $200 total. Unlimited data for $50 - special plan I guess. I may drop down to 3GB for $35 if I don't use it that much. It's pretty sweet. Very portable. I streamed some movies, HBO Go, hooked up my computer to it. It works great. Having Android on it just makes it a lot more flexible in use. That's why I bought it.
  14. Hey hey hey, Happy Birthday!
  15. And if you are in one of those markets or future markets it might be the last reason to keep you from churning versus waiting another 6 months.
  16. Depending on the day I would tend to agree. And 'stab in the back' is a great way to put it - so ruthless. I love it. My first thought on the October 2013 announcement was oh how premature. However, I think it was a worthy announcement however premature. It was about the only positive piece at the time. It has rolled fairly quickly to almost 20 markets. Reported speeds for end of 2015 have already bumped to 180Gbps. I think the new ownership will be aggressive as possible with it - recently claiming a possible rival to cable companies (we'll see). Sprint has had many firsts in the industry but not too many worthy lately. This may be the first one in a while and while it wont be experienced nationwide for everyone I think it is recognized as legit and they are the first. It takes a little, at least a very little if any wind out of the competition's blasting of Sprint. What did it do for the stock? I havent looked. Could be another reason for premature announcement.
  17. Posted at sprint.com now too. http://support.sprint.com/support/article/FAQs_about_HD_Voice_from_Sprint/3b348589-81a4-452d-8758-cd47d7ddb952
  18. After reviewing the chart again, I guess 800voice is not a must since for example the iphone 4 and 4s are not on there -- non LTE of course. I didn't look at the whole list but prob safe to say they are all 800voice. The iphone 5 and up is. Iphone 5c and up are HD voice capable after latest iOS update. http://support.sprint.com/support/article/FAQs_about_HD_Voice_from_Sprint/3b348589-81a4-452d-8758-cd47d7ddb952
  19. Love this chart! Amazing! I know the chart is related to LTE data, but what do you think about adding HD voice calls and 800voice columns as well? People could at least see what they are missing out on by staying in their current model.
