Google Nexus 5 by LG Users Thread!

KTU65 is a leaked build! Hopefully includes Triband radio software

Where is it leaked? There are often sightings of different/newer Nexus builds in the wild.. presumably that's Google people testing things out. Don't get me wrong, I want the update too.. but this isn't the first time something like this has been spotted. I don't think anyone ever doubted that Google was continuing work on the N5.

Ah well it's good to see that this may be a possibility in the near future.  With any luck this will contain the spark update in addition to the other bug fixes.

better explained at myce.com.  The fact that google does not intend to fix this bug tells me they are close.

Got on band 26 today randomly while waiting for a bus in Houston.

Did you do any tricks (PRL trick, etc.) or you just randomly decided to check and it was on Band 26? Being in Orange County, CA I won't be seeing the likes of band 26 anytime soon, so I'm just jealous of you guys. :P

Did you happen to notice what the signal difference was when you were connected to b25 and b26?

So does anybody know the deal with the lack of voicemail notifications? I get none when someone leaves me a message. I did some sniffing on the web and apparently it's quite widespread.

I haven't got my MSL yet so I can't horse with the bands, which sucks cuz I knows there's band 41 everywhere! And probably band 26 too.

I so far do like the phone very much. I got red and it's more of a dark orange then red. I like how fast texts go through. They were slow on the iPhone and S3. Adjusting to android from iOS has been much easier for me then previous versions of both.

Some will say to incorporate google voice to your device, I haven't. Holding the 1 button will work but you have to set your mailbox up.

It's the quickest and easiest way to do it. Gives you visual voicemail as well. You don't even have to integrate it, just to the "light" route and set it up for voicemail only. Simple.

Google voice is a good temporary fix but I want the regular VM to work. I borrowed a TMO SIM stuck it in my phone, left myself a message and the notification worked just fine.

It was just random. I was waiting at a bus stop for the rodeo and noticed great service so I checked.

Band 25 was completely unusable -115 and higher. Band 26 had full bars and was around mid 70s. Also much higher speeds on b26

Me, too and I have no idea why but it's very annoying

Gosh I get those too and always think my phone is going to explode because they come in 5 or 6 at a time. I think it's voicemail related (says something about voicemail in the text) although I never have a voicemail when I get them.
