  2. Anyone knows if the Nexus 6 will get native wifi calling on Sprint? Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk

  7. Has anyone tried Google's project fi? I'm curious as to how well it works in NYC. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  8. Yep, that settles it. Thanks to you all, I will be going with Verizon [emoji25] until Sprint finishes deployment in Westchester. I will keep checking in here for more info. I will be back for that CA B41 goodness. [emoji1] Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  9. I'm leaning towards Verizon because they have a cell site on the roof of the building I moved into. The only thing holding me back is that AT&T has better plans and you can pretty much use any unlocked GSM phones, but im not sure how the capacity stacks up against Verizon's. 10. Recently moved to Mamaroneck, NY and I'm contemplating switching to VZ or AT. Sprint service is great in the Bx and most of Manhattan, but in Westchester I'm on 3G about 70% of the time. I got faith Sprint will improve B41 coverage here soon but not sure when. If anyone in here were to switch to another carrier, which one would you choose and why. Sent from my Nexus 6 using Tapatalk
  11. Anyone know if its possible to sideload lollipop using a Chromebox?
  12. As someone mentioned before PROFIT. For some customers buying from sprint is more convenient.
  13. Who said it was locked? Nexus phones do not have carrier variants.
  14. That was more of a problem related with logistics than software. From what I recall nexus 5's purchased from T-Mobile IMEI/MEID numbers were missing from Sprint's database.
  15. I don't believe carrier's can add their own software spin to nexus devices. It goes against what the nexus program is all about pure android and android development. It would not be pure anymore if carriers put in their own bloatware. There is a big difference between carrier branded devices and devices sold by carriers.
  16. I was once in your shoes until i gotta tri-band device. Now I'm enjoying the great speeds band 41 has to offer. So go ahead and get that note 4, or better yet wait a few weeks for the Nexus 6 [emoji6].
  17. Is not having CA support on B41 really a deal breaker?
  18. I agree. My wife has the G3 and its definitely faster latching on to LTE from 3G.
  19. Thats great, but i can't say the same for me. I still drop to 3G inside my house and fringe low signal areas like basements and building staircases. Beginning to thinks its a nexus 5 scanning problem or B26 has not been optimized around my areas. I don't see much of B26 now that i think about it.
  20. I wouldn't be able to live without Band 41.
  21. To illustrate, B41 is like driving on the NJ turnpike. B25 is the FDR and B26 is the West side Hwy. B41 will be hard to congest with the vast amount of bandwith available.
  22. He might have the impression that he can access all three bands at the same time. But if i remember correctly that would mean carrier aggregation. I might be wrong tho.
  23. I agree. But pertaining to the network and the N5's RF performance, what would make you upgrade? What should we be we waiting for?
  24. Just curious what would make any of us N5 users upgrade? What are we Sprint network users waiting for on a device? What should i be waiting for? I totally love my nexus but I keep wondering what would make this experience better.
