Shentel / Sprint LTE - (was ntelos - West & N&W Virginia)

There are at least 2 band 25, a band 26 and 1 band 41 in some places.

 

For nTelos?

 

Shentel has those deployed, but I didn't think nTelos had anything but a single B25 carrier so far.

Maybe with mike adding nTelos to SCP we may get more reports.

I work in Charleston and drive through it every week day and only get LTE in the parking lot of my workplace up in the Northgate business park. Everywhere else I get 3G.

New members also welcome to "join" in!   Upgrade you membership to Premier and you can see which sites are active with any of the LTE bands and add additional info for other premier members.  The "National" notes with SignalCheck Pro will even tell you the sites as your phone connects to them!

Just got into Waynesboro since LTE was turned on. I have seen my phone say "Extended" but never "Extended Network"

Talked to a rep today, says that we are turned on by first updating PLMN, then they activate by phone serial number...

Nope, nothing in C'ville yet. (I just returned home myself, but I've learned to not get my hopes up very much.)

A page or two back someone stated that November 20th would be some type of opening up for the network. Although that isn't the first time we have heard something like that.

If you go back probably 80 pages I bet someone back 10 years ago said Nov 20 would be when we get LTE

Idk, because I have been getting better signal than usual.... Not been jumping between EV-DO and eHRPD like usual either... Strange.
