  1. Well look for service to degrade I do believe. I don’t think they are going to be better. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Sprints website no longer exists. Probably best just to wait for a bit unless the phone is hardly working. Even then I’d search some used listings for one before I’d get in the mess of TMobile/Sprint services. Anything you get from a store (unless you’re in a shentel Sprint market) is going to be TMobile based and if their network sucks in your area you’re stuck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Well... let’s all put on our Magenta shirts. TMobile has announced their intent to buy Shentel Wireless. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Nope. Still ‘negotiating’. Was told don’t expect to hear anything Sept 1 (the end of 60day period where TMo has option to buy Shentel Wireless assets). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. *Shrug* That’s what we were told in the company meeting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Yeah it’s all up in the air. Everyone is left In the dark... feel bad for the stores. As of Aug 2 Sprint rate plans will be non existent so I don’t know what they’ll be selling. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. No real new information. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Impressive https://www.speedtest.net/my-result/i/4006430355 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I’m not sure either. I do know that the Sprint name and logo and everything is on the way out... like soon... if we remain an affiliate we were told To expect TMo branding soon - like ASAP soon. All the back office billing and stuff is handled by Sprint. Shentel has its own customer service call centers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Under option one TMo has to pay 90% of the entire company value even though they are only getting the wireless portion of the company. As you said - this is to make a buyout unattractive. Under option two as you said - Shentel has opportunity to buy and legacy customers and equipment in their operating area at a reduced rate (I forget right now - want to say 70 or 80%). TMo also has to provide funding if needed. You are correct for option 3. If nothing happens then the TMo network will be turned down in Shentel’s operating area. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Unfortunately I think we are headed towards option one. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. No agreement was reached with TMo. TMo is now n it’s stage to be able to acquire Shentel. I’m not saying this is happening, but we’ve reached that point where it’s possible. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I’m on holiday in SC this week. My daughters iPhone 8 got a carrier update today. Where we are Sprint signal is very low. Her phone is showing AT&T service now [emoji2957] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Correct. S20s will be able to access TMobile as well as Sprint
