  1. Happy Belated Birthday Robert!!!
  2. I would also like to know. But with me when I go I know I'll be on the iPhone 14 Pro Max after it comes out. But atm would like to hear reviews on devices like yours and the iPhone 12 Pro. Would help me Gadge on what to expect in a way. BTW I am on a tmobile sim now and no longer on a Sprint Sim.
  3. Don't expect too much. I did confirm with one of my sources that the third party that does the updates to the T-Mobile and Verizon Maps that they updated the map on the T-MO site to early and has yet to revert it back. I can confirm this since I traveled most of the UC area on the map with no connections whatsoever. Even went to to towers and did a network reset at each one to see if I could connect with no luck whatsoever.
  4. I have no idea why TMO updated the map yet. Visited about every site for the 5G UC coverage they they are showing, even did network resets at each site and did the airplane mode switch and no connection what so ever. Even couldnt even pick it up on the main roads that are shown for the sites. Think they jumped the gun on this one. I know I can connect to 5G UC since i'm a iphone 12 pro. and have connected to it before in richmond va with good results.
  5. They turned on 5G UC for Northern part of Albemarle County Va. will have to test it when I go into town tomorrow. https://drive.google.com/file/d/10fHGyEBdsOOF8geOT1vP4Pk-TXEl3EYB/view?usp=drivesdk
  6. Picked up 5G UC again from the next tower over from what I connected to last time. Still same results only connected for 40-70 seconds this time. I have been talking to one of the managers from one of the third party stores here in Ch'ville. And he has said they are testing process. And should be up and running by the end of June. But he's actually leaving T-MO at the end of this week for a better job. Which sucks because I loose my intel on stuff thats going on in Ch'ville/Albemarle.
  7. I know Harrisonburg and Waynsboro Va areas have access to 5G UC. On Thursday on the way home I connected to it between Albemarle Fire/Rescue Station 12 and UVA Research Park I connected to it for about 45 seconds. Which is good news. Which means we should have 5G UC soon. Haven’t been able to connect to it since but. Can’t always check my phone while driving. Don’t need no ticket from PD lol. I did confirm with a T-MOBILE employee that works at a third party store in the area that we should expect 5G UC by the end of June if not earlier. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1us9-7vHBI2j15MqNOBMNbZKr2_Op1eki/view?usp=drivesdk
  8. Anyone in the Greater Charlottesville/Albemarle County and Greene County area's notice that you have been dropping from 5G to LTE more frequently then normal lately? I defiantly have. But my best guess is that TMO is just updating tower equipment atm. But was wondering if anyone else has had any experiences with this as well lately.
  9. I love me some sweet corn. ESP my Great Grandfathers Sweet Corn he breed. Luckily my grandmother brought some back when she came back from Maine. It was so good hadn’t had it in about 4 yrs. Corn Bread.
  10. I just remembered that their use to be a third party Sprint Store at Fashion Square Mall in Charlottesville. Anyone been their lately? I’m wondering if they converted it or not, considering that their was already a T-Mobile Store already in Fashion Square Mall and one across the street in Shoppers World.
  11. All three 3rd party sprint stores in Charlottesville now have TMO signage out side of the store notice me the change over this past weekend.
  12. Ok out of curiosity. How many of us here in the Charlottesville Greater Area have switched over to the T-Mobile R15 (TNX) Sim? How are your experiences and speeds and what not so far? my experiences have been way better since switching over. Better call/data services, better customer service etc. only thing I’ve noticed is loosing sitting Walmart regardless. I’ve always have had my stuff drop inside Walmart on both Sprit and TMO. Only other difference I have noticed is loosing signal a few times on Ivy Road between Ch’ville and Crozet & no service between a little bit after the traffic circle in Gordonsaville where the 7-11 and the other gAs stations are and BBQ Exchange. Not sure how far out after BBQ Exchange the no service area is a no hit is. But definitely a no go in that area.
  13. Yeah let me know last time I went through to BBQ Exchange I don’t think it was added but that was like mid may.
  14. Usually between the 7-Eleven in Gordonsville through BBQ Exchange is where I have trouble with.
  15. So for anyone that has transitioned their sims from Sprint to TMO R15 (TNX). Have any of you noticed any service interruptions anywhere in Central Va.? And on which devices? The only issue I get on my iPhone 12 Pro, is not long after I pass the 7-Eleven/7-Eleven Gas Station in Orange County heading towards BBQ Exchange I loose service. And don’t get it back till about the same area heading back on 33 towards Ruckersville. Other than that I’m happy with my speeds since they are way better than Sprint 5G. Only other thing I may drop service for a few minutes on the way to Crozet or on the way back from Crozet to Charlottesville for a few minutes. But usually minimum.
  16. Unfortunately this late in the game I’m sure Shentel wouldn’t waste money on a new rack for Sprint costumers seeing how the deal should be closing between now and the end of Q2 when the deal will be closing. Would be a total waste of money and assets tbh. Just my opinion.
  17. Yeah it’s the one at Fashion Square Mall. Another update they did put up some antennas on the rack while I was at work today. Pic 1 Pic 2
  18. Yeah I thought T-Mobile was the second rack down but wasn’t 100%. Only other thing I may be able to think about is Dish adding a rack for Boost. But not definite. You have a link for the permit Trip?
  19. In a way I’m kinda right. Stopped at the tower behind my apartment at the mall. Their is new rack being built. Not sure for who yet. But hoping it’s the foundation for both T-MOBILE/Shentel to have a combined rack. Crossing my fingers.
  20. Honestly y the looks of the coverage map. 90% of the areas I’m looking to live and/or go are either 5G or LTE coverage. Hopefully it is as accurate as can be. I’ll definitely find out after moving.
  21. Two technicians I didn’t see at the mall behind my apartment complex on the tower. Of course I was in a hurry to get home to relax. I’m hoping maybe it’s two techs prepping the foundation to the Shentel/T-MO stuff. Especially since both have racks on this tower. Hopefully they will add a new rack with combined network structure and new equipment and then get rid of the old Shentel and T-MOBILE racks.
  22. Anyone visit or live in these area able to give feed back on this. Would be amazing if you could. I’m sure Portland Me area is good to go with TMobile experience. But how is service in the following? Bangor/Brewer/Old Town, Corinth, Hudson, Stetson, Dexter, Diver-Fixceoft & Pesquil Maine?
  23. Ok update with in the last couple days (while I’m isolation) I have noticed while on my home tower (Fashion Square Mall less than 1/4 mile from my apartment) it has gone back to normal with 200+ upload and 60+ upload.
