Wow here in NYC we are on a blizzard warning. LTE will be delayed, no work will be done for the next few days

March is looking like a reality here in NYC. Seems like another LTE tower came online in Flushing in Main street and Roosevelt Ave. Another in Williamsburg. Take a look at Sensorly... a lot of new dark purple.

Yeah I noticed that , in Downtown Manhattan a new blob of purple recently appeared & in like a day, im just Baffled by the speed of Sprint .

& I have some service improvements , YAY I think Sprint finally fixed the towers closest to me , bc service as of today has been great loving it .

My speeds in my home at 6:20 in the morning. In general, when my tower is at its heaviest use, I get around 1.6Mbps

Those are great speeds & people say Sprint sucks once the NV plan is complete Sprint will be one of the top dogs,

Yeah there's definitely work going on in my area. A few minutes ago I couldn't even get a data connection, and now my phone is connected to what I assume is a NV tower, download speeds are around 0.70 Mbps and upload speeds just below 1 Mbps. Pings in the 90's & 100's. I didn't move an inch.

 

Whether they just flipped something on or I got kicked to a different tower, I hope stays.

The cell tower by my house that has NV upgrades has been down since 12.25.12 slow data . They hold me its a Single cell site outage. This will delay the LTE i guess

has anyone noticed significant improvements in 1X and 3G signal strength after NV or LTE upgrades nearby? I have bad reception in my apartment and relying on airave which goes out every now and then due to GPS outage on the machine.

And also, I see my phones network resetting ever now and then lately. Must be they're working on a nearby tower.

i see very good correlation between the sensorly map and the "2network speed upgrade" on sprint website as what has been stated from one of the user on this forum.

What is your LTE signal strength in dBm from your LTE Engineering screen? If you have a weak LTE signal, it may be impressive.
