Once. What were you doing when it happened? I assumed it was because I had rebooted the device for a while.

If you have a sd card take it out and see if this fixes it. 4.4 does not work well with low class or slow cards from ive seen.

You should have Wi-Fi calling. Mine has it and it works fine.

On freezes I wasn't doing anything weird just hitting send on a text. No sdcard installed. I was running ART and now I've switched back to see if it helps

Over on xda there's been several mentions of the zv4 update not actually giving some the WiFi calling ability as it should. From what I've seen so far the only remedy has been device return unfortunately.

Have wifi calling now. Store reset the phone.  I asked what the code was- ##RTN.  Yep it was a wipe.

I can't remember if the freeze occurred before or after I switched to ART. Pretty sure it was before.

To answer your question, yes because now days that's a lot of peoples happy tone! 

 

Back on topic though, my G3 froze after opening an app through a notification.

You could try out the SignalCheck app made by one of our members here. It's a very powerful a d informative app, to say the least and @MikeJeep does a great job enhancing it.

SignalCheck Pro is awesome. So is LTE Discovery, which will also show what band you are on. +1 for both apps!
