Any idea how long Google takes to ship? I chose 2 days instead of the other option.

Shipments leave on 11/5, then it should be there within 2 days.  11/7 most likely.

My pending order page says it leaves the warehouse on 11/5... I've never ordered a device from google but I'm guessing it ships from California?

Ok just saw mine as well. Yes it also says 11/5... I have never ordered a device from google. Im hoping it is the usual disclaimer date to save their asses but that it leaves sooner than that.

I chose 2 day but the confirmation says it will leave the warehouse 11/05/2013.  I ordered the 32GB Black.

when you go to google wallet to check your receipt does your order show up as "pending" i tried to use my american express but it got denied due to fraud prevention and had to change the funding source to my debit card. idk if it should be showing pending or if its doing that since i changed the funding source.

Thanks :)

I had Google Wallet setup with updated payment info days ago etc, and my order also says "pending" so I wouldnt worry.

Mine says Pending.  However an authorization already hit my card.

EDIT:  I was mistaken.  That was a different authorization for almost the same amount.  DOH!

Found this on play store shipping info:

  • UPS two-day shipping (2 business days processing + 2 business days for delivery)

so Friday and Monday as processing days and ships on Tuesday 11/5.

The weekend distorted the dates.

Now I need to upgrade my home WiFi, so I can get that 100Mbps speeds on my new Nexus 5.  Yeehaw!

Ordered a 32GB black one. When the phone arrives I'll start using it with T-Mobile, but as soon as I can make it to the Sprint store I'll grab a SIM for the device and that'll become my main phone :)

EDIT: I'd upgrade my router to 11ac, but my home internet connection is the limiting factor already for bandwidth, so maybe later...

For any other TING users, I just called Ting about this. I was told they simply don't know yet if Sprint will let the device be brought over to MVNOs even if bought directly from Google but they should have an answer about it in a week or so hopefully so the answer is still a solid maybe.

No, my home internet service maxes around 100Mbps.  So that is the maximum throughput I will be able to achieve in ideal situations on an 802.11ac WiFi network.

    • Was in Red Hook again and I swear there are more Link5G sites as there are Verizon, T-Mobile, and AT&T small cells combined in the entire neighborhood. It seemed like every other street I turned down had one installed. Hopefully carriers will start hopping on them soon. Seems like a lot of effort to go through for no one to use them.  — — — — — T-Mobile converted the Sprint site on top of NYU Langone Brooklyn in Sunset Park. I first mapped one sector of it back in November 2023 but I thought it was a small cell so I never pinned it but I ran into another sector today which caught me off guard. I'm unable to find a permit for the conversion so it's definitely a surprise. There's another T-Mobile site 1 block away that T-Mobile initially installed back in 2019 so I'm kinda surprised they're keeping both considering the Sprint conversion is on a much taller building and coule potentially provide much better coverage to the entire area.
    • Still not seeing any ULS postings for pending T-Mobile UScellular merger in Dane county Wisconsin.
    • Came across another Crown Castle Solutions multi-tenant oDAS node in Brooklyn. Located at 40.7002286, -73.9612666. Nothing on T-Mobile or AT&T so I'm assuming these are all Verizon nodes that Crown Castle is anticipating another carrier will hop on down the line.
