At the same time yea, but all in one day is definitely possible.

But If you can't disclose your source that's all you had to say.

That's great!

But unfortunately, since I'm running on Sprint's cheap daughter, Virgin, as soon as I hit the 2.5 Gb of data(4 Walking Death episodes can do that :-) ) I got throttled down to 400k's. Heck, that's better than what I had before!

Once they turn on LTE I'll be heading down to the Sprint kiosk to get a me a new phone!

I have the custom PRL to go on LTE as soon as it lights up. Been around the San Juan, Guaynabo and Cataño area and no sight of eHRPD, but then again, none of those cities have been mentioned as going live.

work will probably start soon in these areas, if it hasn't already... it's just a matter of time before the LTE indicator starts lighting up on our phones, maybe even while they're testing the install

Oh I know for sure theyre working on it. I read an email from Sprint sent to Open Mobile giving timeframes on work being done that will affect roaming and data services. Most people will never notice it because its early in the A.M. but some might notice it. What I didnt see were areas.

First post here so cut me some slack. I live in Ponce and today i was at Punto oro (Ponce Towne Center area) and i noticed much faster 3g speeds, so i did a speed test and got 2.13 mps in the first one and 2.03 mps in the second one. Maybe it has something to do with the tower Kendog was talking about (correct me if i'm mistaken) as that area is pretty close. Anywhere else in Ponce i only get from .20 mps to 45 mps.

part of the network in Ponce is failure until oct 22

well, it's always been this slow, so i don't know what the "failure" is about. Thanks for the info though.

Ponce has 13 sites of NV on air.

Well hopefully it'll be better by the end of the year then. Ponce is supposed to be one of the secondary targets for Sprint LTE and improved 3g, isn't it?

Same thing here. Way to many blind spots, specially in college. I study at "La Catolica" in Ponce and it's like a black hole in the whole campus.

Probably no NV equipment completed on these antennas, remember Mayaguez doesn't have any official site on yet.

    • I haven't had the opportunity to test or map Dish here in NYC but they have tons of sites. I'm fairly certain that at this point they have contiguous coverage across the city, and in some places they likely have better coverage than the incumbents. I still think their weird split branding and lack of advertising is what's killing them, not the network.  I have no idea what they were thinking by launching a sub-brand for people to beta test their network and then another sub-brand specifically for postpaid service, and not even with the guarantee that it uses their network. They need to get rid of everything and start with a clean slate.
    • Drove the entire 101 out on the Olympic Peninsula over the weekend and was able to map a number of TMO sites which weren't previously mapped. Also, did it in my Mach E (electric car). The Tesla Superchargers (especially the one in Forks, WA) made the whole trip SUPER easy.
    • Ok so I signed up for service through Boost Infinite, I ended up getting the Motorola Razr got it today.  They sent the rainbow SIM 2.0 card.  Activation was a breeze, connected to Dish's native network (n70 and n71), took the phone out and... IMPRESSED with their network!  Getting 200 to 300Mbps over n70 and around 50 to 60 on n71 no coverage drops!  Gosh I hope Dish can get it together, VoNR was crystal clear as well.  Paying $25.00 a month for the Infinite plan and $10.00 for the Moto Razr.  Amazing deal... will do more testing this evening when I get more time.  But so far from what I'm seeing Dish needs to stay in the fight. Just rebrand off of damn Boost and call it Dish Wireless...
    • I assume that any agreement is not perpetual and has an end date. - Trip
    • I think it is likely that T-Mobile will be forced to honor any existing US cellular roaming agreements in those areas as a condition of them taking over the spectrum.  In that case, there would be no improvement of service unless T-Mobile improves the service offering in those areas.
