  1. Where specifically? I was roaming today in Hato Rey (no signal at all) Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 4
  2. I really wonder what could be the holdup there... The 3G part was completed like November or December last year, so the facilities for getting the backhaul there should already be available Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 4
  3. sorry, but no, I'm asking specifically about Puerto Rico, it's been an issue for the past week.
  4. Anyone still having issues with high ping and slow internet (both 3G and LTE) here in Puerto Rico? I wonder if it's a reported network outage, might have to call in tomorrow Sent from my Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk.
  5. seems there's some network problems, since yesterday afternoon I've noticed the ping is sky high on my GS3 (over 500ms) in LTE areas here in Bayamon, with much slower speeds than normal.
  6. I called in to Airave Support and the tech, while very helpful, couldn't find any similar reports. He thought that it may be a speed issue with my ISP, but I've had the same speeds and service for a while with no problem. He'll call me back on Wednesday, I'll ask him if an equipment exchange would work. I suggest that you also call in to report it, if only so they have another report besides mine. Sent from my Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk.
  7. I started having this issue the past week, I have DSL but that's probably not the reason, as the Airave had been working perfectly for more than two years (since March 2011). I get an echo on outgoing calls, while incoming ones seem to work fine. Sent from my Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk.
  8. San Juan, Bayamon & Guaynabo are still missing LTE site completion, but there's no new progress to report so it's been quiet here. I'm waiting for the announcement of the Galaxy Note 3 with tri-band LTE Sent from my Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk.
  9. Can't be long, they've been working on it almost daily for the past week.
  10. Just passed by the UPR-B site, there was an Ericsson truck (who handle the site inspections), but also a machine not unlike the ones used for underground cable laying. Just theorizing here, but maybe they're laying more fiber? Sent from my Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk.
  11. Just passed by the UPR Bayamon site, and there was work being performed, including a worker that had climbed up to the tower. LTE may light up soon... Sent from my Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk.
  12. LTE Advance is next-generation technology, the evolution of LTE tech. Sent from my Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk.
  13. Yeah, I wonder what the holdup could be, as 3G has been complete for a while, and most of the sites around it have LTE already. Could be backhaul related, as 3G speeds where stellar when they activated the 3G update, but have dropped a bit. Sent from my Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk.
  14. Last I read, just 3 sites missing 3G upgrades (out of 242 I think), and 80-something waiting for their LTE upgrades Sent from my Galaxy S3 using Tapatalk.
  15. Plaza Las Américas is a huuuge shopping mall in Hato Rey/San Juan, and it seems the sites around the mall work on the sites around the mall has slowed, like the rest of the San Juan/Metro area. Probably not much work performed this week either, with it being Holy Week, and it being so rainy the past 3 or 4 days.
