  1. I would say that there is a zero possibility of a sprint version of this device. I hope I don't offend anyone when I say this but those guys don't know what they are doing, I swear they are trying everything in their power to not sell their product. Every single decision they have made has been quite laughable when it comes to getting the device in customers hands. Now don't get me wrong I think the device itself is pretty damn good especially for the price but whoever runs the company sucks when it comes to making busines decisions. I don't see them being in business long at all.
  2. I know the desire series of htc phones will be coming to the US but I didn't think the E8 would have made it. If this is priced just right they should be able to move quite a few of these.
  3. Yeah, I suppose it would have helped if I had actually watched the video, LOL.
  4. Yeah, it is an m8 shaped like an m7 and in plastic but internals are all the same as the m8. I don't even think this device will be coming to the US though. The htc device that passed through the FCC I think might be a different device, more along the lines of the "desire" series of htc phones which is a slight step down from this. I don't think the E8 is coming to the US. EDIT: Nevermind, I guess it would have helped if I had actually watched the video. I stand corrected.
  5. Earlier in the year there were lots of ecsfb issues but definitely not now. Band 25/26 is literally everywhere, band 41 is kinda hit or miss though.
  6. Its definitely fake. To add, that website is a joke. Whoever owns that site is trying way to hard to be relevant.
  7. Maybe you haven't been paying attention but the tablet market has basically peaked, not only that but most consumers who want a tablet will go for the WiFi only version. Sprint has zero incentive to sell WiFi only tablets.
  8. In my opinion it will come down to screen size, camera, battery life and overall performance. Even though the screen on the g3 is 1440p the color reproduction seems to be slightly washed out compared to the screen on the m8 and to me the screen on the m8 is better in direct sunlight. The camera on the g3 definitely takes better photos in day light but the m8 easily wins in lower light scenarios. Video capability is much more even but the m8 will still keep that advantage in low light scenarios but of course the g3 can do 4k and the m8 can't. Also the camera on the m8 is faster regardless of the laser focus on the g3. Whats important here is the time it take to actually open the camera app, focus, then take a pic, the m8 just does it faster. Battery life I would almost give it to the m8 only because it has 400 less mah and its still on par with what you would see on the g3(of course your miles will vary), but at least the g3 does have a removable battery. When it comes to performance, even though the g3 is spec'd slightly faster, the m8 is easily the fastest and quickest responding android device on the market even after being on the market for 5 months. Also if you are into rooting then definitely the m8. Regardless though, both devices are excellent devices and you can't go wrong with either.
  9. Hopefully more oems will start using sapphire for the camera lens like on the latest iphones.

    LG G3

This is just too easy, I will just let this one slide.

I wonder if any of your co-workers were looking at you from a distance? They probably thought you lost your mind since you were sitting in your chair spinning around slowly and doing figure 8's in the air with your phone, LOL.
  12. Which version sprint will get? As far was what, SoC? It will be the qualcomm processor no doubt.
  13. Been here since the beginning of february 2012, I am not even sure how I found this site but I'm glad I did.
  14. I almost pulled the trigger on a bunch myself but I decided to just wait a little. If gets any lower in the next day or so then I will jump all over it for sure.
  15. Link provided to relevant thread so this will get closed.
  16. Well if you are using an galaxy s2 on sprint then that is a 4g wimax capable device. The current map will show 4g lte coverage, not wimax. Looks like its time for an upgrade.
  17. Haven't used swappa, but I have countless ebay transaction under my belt. Tips: I see what the going rates are of the particular device to see if its even worth my time, if not then I would just donate it. When listing a device, I try to include all original accessories as well as original box it came in, that usually gets you a few extra dollars compared to similar listings. Have a really good accurate description of the device and have a lot of clear and detailed pictures. I list the item so that it ends(if going with an auction versus buy it now) on an evening early in the week like a monday night or tuesday night. If I go with the buy it now option I usually price a little bit high and give buyer an option to make an offer. Its good to offer free shipping, just keep that in mind when pricing the device. Most importantly, always make sure that you use paypal no exceptions and make sure you ship any and every item with tracking, delivery and signature confirmation to a confirmed paypal address. This will protect you from getting scammed 99.999999% of the time. If I don't have time for all this and I don't want to donate it then craiglist is the way to go, just make sure you meet in a safe place.

Its not really a bad decision per-say. Based on the description provided in that link it would seem that the camera sensor is a native 4:3 13mp sensor, so if you want to take a widescreen(16:9) photo it will just crop the top and bottom off of the 13 mp photo which brings it down to a 10mp. In comparison the galaxy s5 and htc one m8 has a native 16:9 camera sensor so if you want take a 4:3 photo then both will crop the left and right edges of the photo thus decreasing the total mp's used. So yeah, thats whats happening when you select 10mp and that also doesn't mean that you are getting less detail either, the level of detail is the same its just that the photo itself is covering less area.
  19. I don't see this sticking at all, what in the hell are the "little guys" suppose to do to compete?
  20. My nexus 5 won't work on sprint without my sprint sim no matter what.
  21. This company is worth a fraction of what tmobile is worth, I don't see how they can pull it off unless someone else with lots of bank is pulling the strings behind the scenes.
  22. Even with its 3gb of ram the lg g3 still lags, though not as bad as the gs5. As of now, the m8 is still by far the fastest and most responsive android device you can get. Also, I honestly think that lg should have stuck with their 1080p screen instead of going to 1440p. I don't think it was worth the performance hit and overheating issues many people seem to be complaining about. Personally though, I did get a chance to spend quite a bit of time with it and it is a fantastic device but all around I think the m8 still wins(barely). LOL, well coming from a gs3 you definitely can't go wrong with either device. Most say that battery life is about even between the two, so it will have to come down to camera versus performance. Performance wise this one is easy, the m8 is just faster when it comes to literally everything....period. The camera though is a different story. In sufficient light the g3 takes some really good looking photos as does the m8 but of course the difference shows when you want to zoom in on the photo. The m8 beats it in medium to low light situations and the m8 also provides a manual camera mode which is pretty cool if you know what you are doing.
