The moto x does have some cool software features that you won't find on the nexus 5 but over all the nexus kills the moto x in every single category so nexus 5 all the way.

I haven't had any issues connecting to band 41 in my area.

When you activated your m8 the msl was provided, check the confirmation email they sent you after the activation. They call it the "activation code".

Other forums been mentioning that maybe evleaks is just trying to cover up the fact that they were totally wrong but then why did an htc employee got offended and tweeted evleaks when the original leak was tweeted? You would have to believe that kind of knee jerk reaction to some random leak would mean that there has to be some sort of truth to it don't you think? Maybe htc has had enough and perhaps took legal action against them to a certain extent, I don't know but I still think that this device(or something similar) is coming.

With any major update I think its always good to perform a hard reset, that would probably eliminate 90% of all complaints.

This is more of a mid level device but still though, probably virgin and boost. I do think that something like this on sprint, priced competitively, would be a great seller.

Google voice is awesome but it has caused havoc one too many times for me to consider using it ever again. The last issue I had with google voice, my main line was basically hijacked. I couldn't make or receive calls or texts and it took a week for sprint and google to figure out what was going on.

To be able to hide or adjust anything up top you will need to root.

Thats fine but at least the basics have been answered for you. If its a sprint specific phone then I don't see any issues but if its for a gsm carrier then obviously it won't work.

Please correct me if I am wrong but you want to beta test a non sprint device using the sprint sim from your G2? If this is what you are getting at then it won't work at all.

Its not possible with stock rom, there are custom roms out there that will allow you to do it though.

Each device will come with its own sim. In the event you only had one sim you can use the sim in another device but you have to set it up through sprint before you put it in the device you want to use it in. Also, if I am not mistaken the m8 uses a nano sim and the gs5 uses a micro sim.

Not much to really compare so if you are on the fence then get the m8, you will be very happy. The evo lte was a great device but had some issues with connectivity.

From what I have read, lg stated that it has a metallic coated plastic chassis. So I guess its still plastic but with a fancy paint job.

Come on of course there is a difference, if the g3 went down to 4.9 compared to the 5.2 on the g2 would you be saying its only .3 of an inch? Probably not.

I really like what I am seeing but for me I think the sweet spot for screen size is 5" to 5.2", anything larger is a little bit too much.

Well as it stands with my current account and number of lines, it would still benefit me more if I stuck with a 2 year subsidy plan. In an ideal world, I would prefer just paying straight up with actual service pricing being substantially less than what it is now.

You can only get that icon if the device was rooted, so he could have just unrooted the device and add back the stock recovery so you can update regular OTA's

Oh ok, whoever sold you your max had it modded. This is mines on my m8, I flashed this mod so it could take up less space and it hides when connected to wifi.

Its definitely hideous for sure, but you can't argue with those specs. I think the only things that will make me purchase this is if it has a killer camera or killer rf performance but other than that I think I will pass. My n5/m8 combo is working out just fine for me. I don't know, overall the device will be considerably smaller than the One Max, I honestly don't see them cramming a larger battery into a smaller chassis so my guess would be a 3000mah battery and with how efficient these new chips are I am sure it will have the same if not better battery life than the One Max.

For me personally the max and the m8 perform about the same when it comes to lte connectivity, which is a good thing.

I have the power flip case and all in all its probably one of the best cases you can get for any device. It has that professional look and it has functionality as well. The only thing for me though is that the powerflip case makes the max a little too heavy and cumbersome to handle comfortably. This is of course is more of a personal thing being that the max is just a little to big for me in the first place. The other major thing though was that after about a month and half of use, the case developed a short so it basically stopped working. Since the battery is on the front of the case and the wiring runs through the hinge, maybe it shorted out after opening and closing the case countless times every day. Not sure how many other people have experienced the same thing.

Really, the only reason why sales are lagging behind the ps4 is because the initial hardware purchase is $100 more out of the gate, regardless of whatever you get with it. Consumers will think twice before just dumping an additional $100 just because its an xbox. Same reason why the ps3 lagged behind the 360 because out of the gate it was $200 more for basically the same thing. But yeah, there are more deals with the xbox because they are simply not selling as well.
