Black, white and gold? Damn, I really wanted them to have it in that emerald green or even blue. I have a feeling the s6 will be $249.99 for the base 32gb model with the s6 edge coming in at $349.99

My girl is currently using an m8 and she really likes the m9(especially in pink) so I will at least get her one on release day if sprint gets that color. For me I will definitely get the s6 edge on release day simply because I just love how it looks, I will also end up with an m9 for sure I just don't know when.

This may end up being the first htc device I don't get on release day, I may just wait it out a week or two to see how it goes.

Hell, I already have a spigen case for the s6 edge sitting on my desk. I am getting it no matter what, I just hope the radio performance turns out to be decent in real world use.

Well based on all the reviews I have read the m9 is basically one of the fastest performing phones you can get right now with the only thing lacking is the camera.........yet again. So basically its like the m7 and the m8. I am not 100% sure what I am going to do. Out of all my lines I currently only have one upgrade and that will be going towards the s6 edge, not sure if I will be able to justify spending $600+ on the m9 if things don't get better. I may just have to cheap out and get one off of ebay in a month or two. I am just hoping that these issues are exclusive to the international versions since those are the ones currently being reviewed and not carrier specific variants.

I thought there was quite a bit of excitement for the edge model, hell they got me excited and I am not that much of a fan.

Some of the camera samples looks pretty good while other still look somewhat questionable but overall definitely better than the m8 in my opinion. Just a few more weeks to go, can't wait.

I understand but the s6 finishing much faster, specifically with geekbench, still does not mean anything. I can come up with many examples of one device finishing faster and having higher scores than another device when running the same benchmark tests yet it doesn't translate to real world use. Honestly, my main issue here is with touchwiz and I have zero faith in samsung when it comes their bloated UI that never seems to be optimized. I will admit though, the new memory samsung is using is very impressive I just hope its as fluid as what they are making out to be. HTC may not always be on top of the good chain when it comes to specs but man do they know how to make one hell of a responsive interface.

The s3, s4, s5 had better specs and better benchmark scores than the evo lte, m7 and m8 respectively but that didn't come close to reflecting real world results between those devices. Benchmarks has its place for sure but its the last thing you should be looking at when trying to figure out real world performance.

We are at a stage now where the only way for a device to blow another device out of the water when it comes to real world performance is if that particular os/ui hasn't been optimized on that device. So with that, do I expect this newest version of touchwiz on the s6 to be more responsive than previous versions? No doubt, but do I expect it to blow the m9 out of the water? Not a chance in hell. We will see in a few weeks, plus I am getting one of each so I can do some real world comparisons myself.

Awesome article as always, I kinda figured the m9 would be better than the m8 and I also had doubts about samsung because of the change in materials. With that said, I will be getting one of each regardless but I really hope the s6 edge proves to be a better performer in real world use.

The m8 was a pretty good improvement over the m7 and I read somewhere that there suppose to be some improvements done to the m9 in that area so we will see.

Come on now, the real reason people are calling it an m8s is because of the design looking so similar to the m7/m8. If it had a new design then everyone would be saying different but as far as internal specs go the m9 is very much a beastly device.

Not sure what the issues are with the flex 2 but the m9, based on what I know, hasn't been experiencing those issues at all. Look at galaxy s devices versus one devices over the last few years. On average the s devices in most cases would easily have better benchmark scores compared to the One device of that same year yet when it came to real world use the One devices blew the galaxy s devices out of the water when it came to responsiveness. So I could care less who has extremely high scores or not, its all about real world use.

As long as the edge has the same or similar battery life as my m8 then I will be very happy. Damn, I still can't believe I am this excited for a samsung device. I feel like I need to go and take a shower after saying that.

Still don't like the look of touchwiz but I am definitely feeling the s6 edge no doubt so with that I will probably be getting one. It looks too cool to not own even with horrible touchwiz. I just hope the battery life is good and the camera is good and I hope they don't ask too much of a premium. At the most I am willing to spend an additional premium fee of $150, anything more and I don't think I will pull the trigger.
