Band 25 can be disabled while leaving 26 and 41 on? Previously disabling B25 would turn off all LTE.

I'll need to verify later when I'm in range of b41, but the menu let me turn it off while the others stayed enabled.

Ummm you definitely can't disable band 25

Damn would be nice If you could.

Not really. Not that nice. Many of you would abuse it. And this is why we cannot have nice things.

I really hope Google refreshes the N5 with an N5b soon. They need to keep updating the 5" form factor

And that too won't be available.

Give it a month and the N6 will be available everywhere .. It's weird that the N5 is out of stock, but I'm not trying to buy one anyway. Makes me think something is in the works.

Could just mean they are out of stock. Hahaha

I know it technically started, but I was hoping to find out if anyone has actually received it yet. There's often about a two-week lag between the roll-out and most people getting it. See: https://www.reddit.com/r/Nexus5/comments/2mdv8n/anybody_else_not_receive_their_ota_update_yet/

Yeah that's what a staged rollout does.  You can get the OTA files here and sideload yourself. http://www.androidpolice.com/2014/11/13/flash-all-the-things-lollipop-ota-update-zip-file-roundup/

Well yea, but I'd like to figure out what stage they're at. Apparently stage 0 as of now.

Not interested in sideloading because, as I understand it, sideloading an OTA doesn't necessarily update your radio (and to manually update your radio you need root, and to get root, you need to wipe your device).

I returned my Google Play Store 32 GB Nexus 5 to Google for a RMA. This new one is having a hard time sticking to LTE and is slower in speeds. In places where I would literally stand and consistently hit 15-20 mbps, I would have a hard time even holding LTE. I often disconnect completely, it searches/scans for a while then reconnects. I never had these problems on my previous phone. It doesn't seem like a ecfb issue; it re-connects but also, i didn't have the problem in the same place before.

1.       I’m using the same UICC SIM card. I have a brand new one they sent me. Would this make a difference if I swapped it?

2.       I’m updated PRL/Profile a bunch. I also have LTE band priorities (41 – 1; 25/26 – 0).

3.       Could this be a hardware issue? The antennae?

I went through three RMA returns before I got a good one. They are all refurbished. I had one where it wouldn't connect to band 41 or 26 even after doing fresh factory flashes.

The google guy I was emailing was nice to make sure I had one. He even followed up on me a few weeks after I got the good one which honestly is performing better than the original.

I've seen many reports of people getting the OTA.  Sideloading does update the radio. It's exactly the same as if you were to receive the OTA automatically.

Ah, I see. Did you ever try to swap UICC SIM Cards? That's what they told me to try out..

Well that's what I get for trusting random Internet people. Went for the sideload. Looks good.

After running 5.0 official, I definitely see an improvement in battery life over kit kat. I let it pick all the defaults for location, google now etc and I'm able to make it through an entire day with moderate use. Before, I would be running for the charger by the time I got home from work. I forgot how much of a battery hog Facebook was without greenify keeping it in check.
