In regards to KK, is there a sure way of rooting it and if so could you please provide instruction on how to and any links that would be helpful.

Quiet a few people are wanting to root but haven't had any luck.

Thanks.....

I hate to be that guy but quite a few people either lied or haven't looked, at all, because we stated multiple times in this very thread how and what to do... and, it is very easy.

He's talking about searching the forums instead of just asking(it was like two pages back by the way..), or using the almighty Google.

Did you completely miss the photo of the s4gru main page with the search bar circled? It was attached to his post...I thought it was pretty obvious lol

I've seen that but no biggie, if it's that much of an issue I'll just stop by and say Hi when I come to visit. I like being part of a group, community that helps one another regardless how many time a question is brought to light. I see now it's a burden.

Thanks for the heads up. :welc2::cool:

Try this : http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/4886-lg-g2-users-thread/?p=301358

Basically go into your app menu in settings, and clear the data/cache in the Google framework services, might need a few times, but should show an update is available.

This is what worked for me.....

Update prl/profile

Reboot device

Force Stop and Clear Data in Google services Framework

Go To LG Software UPdate

:stop:  wait 30+ minutes then tap " Check Now "

I changed up the process slightly since the other way wasn't working for me.

Best of luck! :welc2:

Are you connected to wifi when you did the clearing of Google framework Services?

Force stopping Google Play Services and clearing data is not good to do.

Yes that's already been covered in this blog and link provided for user reference.

It's up to the user to make that call.......
