Has anyone else went and checked out the AMA on r/essential? Apparently they are doing a biweekly ama just on the r/essential sub! I think they convinced me to go get this phone with the answers they gave to several questions!

What's the difference between lease one get one free and half off on one phone?

But what about the one that was free? Is there a price to keep it too at the end of the lease?

I know they try to get more lines which cost more by doing the lease one get one free thing but why not do a half off for people who don't need an extra line but are due an upgrade? Also on a side note, say I did need an extra line and did this, I have a couple of questions. 1.) Do you pay taxes on both devices upfront or just the one you are leasing? 2.) What happens at the end of the lease with the buyout option? If you choose to buy out the phone you were paying for but you also wanted to keep the second phone? It says the lease is free but what would you pay for the second phone?

Dang, read on Reddit that someone over a few stores said they have replaced 10 phones out of 15 stores sure to them dying! Any word on this other than from that one person? I have a friend that has a Moto through Verizon and don't think it's the same exact phone but had the same mods and she's on her 4th one from it just stopping. Said the screen would go black and could hear the text incoming but couldn't get it to turn on.

I have a note 5 and played with the essential phone in the store the other day and like the looks of it. Just gun shy from reading the Reddit essential sub with all the issues. I looked over the AMA from yesterday with Andy and it seems like they are working hard to fix several of the issues so with that said, what's the signal performance like with this thing?

Did y'all see the details about the lgv30+. It's supposed to be 128 gig instead of 64...I also heard rumors that it might have 6 gig ram instead of 4 gig but that part isn't verified yet! Wonder how much more the plus version will cost? Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk
