There are Main Menu and Back options when you get in and for the sake of simplicity, do the Auto test. [emoji4]

This! One of my main excuses for getting the G3 and giving my husband the G2 was so we would both have WiFi calling. Would love to pull the Airave.

I think I will send my G2 out for repair soon. My GPS is terrible and my CPU stutters and makes music have delays and make strange sounds.

 

I'm hearing some people are having to put paper next to the GPS antenna to fix it...I would rather get it actually fixed.

Good luck with your repair Ascertion! Mine worked for about a week when it came back from LG repair, then stopped working again. I'm sending it back a second time for the same repair.

Take pictures of bezels with your phone info on the screen so if they mess it all up, you can send proof they damaged and maybe get new replacement or something.

Man, I hate that the shipping cost to send it in is on you.  They should cover it if they find defect on the device!!!  The UPS store nearby charges like $20 each time I send something like this out.

Did you already send yours back again?  I'm sending mine tomorrow.  My only backup device is an LG Optimus S so it's going to be a rough week. LOL

No I didn't send my G2 back again yet, I've been procrastinating. I have a Samsung Galaxy Mega that I'm currently using.

So, the Optimus S is too slow for my taste so I borrowed my brother's GS2 (Epic Touch 4G) he wasn't using and now Sprint's not activating it because it's been rooted before...???  I'm stock now but I've never heard Sprint decline to activate a device for me because of root.

When did that take place?  My father's GS3 has been rooted and he activated it just fine.  I know I can activate my G2 when it's been rooted.  Why only the Samsung Epic Touch???!  I'm about to open the G2 box and just deal with the GPS until I upgrade so I wont be stuck with this Optimus S. lmao

Sorry, I was only kidding.  I really don't know why you can't activate.  Did you contact Sprint about the situation?  Possibly one of the CSR's could help you out.  It's worth a try!

Are you paying for the shipping at the UPS store? If so, just thought I'd mention that UPS stores markup shipping costs significantly there. If you want to save money, you can actually prepay on UPS.com and get the real price then just drop it off at a Staples, Office Depot, etc. An even cheaper alternative is going to the post office and shipping via priority service w/ insurance (over $200 in insurance requires a signature). I can't get my KnockOn to work. KnockOff works fine.. I have tried calibrating the sensor. Yes, it is enabled. I tried the hidden menu tests, but can't complete it since Sprint locked down most of the menu. Any other ideas for me?

Tot back to ZV8, update touch firmware via hidden menu and then OTA back up to ZVD. If you are rooted, you could also try to flash the AT&T hidden menu found on XDA in the VZN hidden menu thread OR my teams thread for SuperG2. It will give you access to update touch firmware and may work but it's not 100%.

 

Oh, I should note, if your screen is actually damage none of this will probably work. You can definitely run the Touch Test - Auto with the Hidden Menu we got in ZVC/ZVD so maybe try that first.

So my G2 may have gotten a little moisture in it golfing today (talking water splashing on the phone).  How eff'd am I if only the speaker phone works, using the handset normally to use the phone I get nothing for voice out of both ends,  and when I plug it in it shows a "slow charge"?  It is sitting in rice right now, but the only issue I can diagnose is nothing audio from the phone unless it is speaker phone and it shows a slow charge.

 

Help!  Any advice is appreciated.

Sorry, yeah, Touch Draw Test - Auto at the bottom of that screen that you saw the Touch Draw Test on.
