Hmm.. I beg to differ. It depends on how good or bad of a driver she is.

Not really, the Deductible is something one can choose. Now the premium for said deductible is based on driving record, claims, age, and credit rating. Also on some lines you can have an agreed value on your property. For instance if I was to insure a motorcycle for $5000 when it books for $8000 then the insurance company would only pay $5000 in the event of a total loss. This I think would be a good idea for cell phones because not all smartphones are worth $700 so why pay the premium/deductible as if it were.

Don't go looking for any of those 22, 500 Sprint G2's that got stolen in Indiana. You might as well say those are nothing but door knobs now. Truck got jacked carrying the phones.

Most of the parts can still be used to fix g2's with usable esn's, not to mention other carrier variants depending out different the internals are.

If they can get them sim unlocked they can still make quite a bit of money internationally.

He sold you a phone with no back cover? Sounds a little fishy to me. I guess the tether was too difficult to remove at the store..

That is sketchy as hell. No back cover likely means they took it off (or broke it off) since the security sensor attaches to that.

I'm putting a suggestion out does the triband hot spots have an apn file? If so try using that apn file..... Just a suggestion I don't know if that would work

The problem is likely teasing the APN file out of the mobile hotspots.  I am sure that many have the requisite skills to do so, but the process is not the same as in Android handsets, as the hotspots are running some other light OS.  That said, we should practically expect any day now a hotspot running Android.
