Can anyone please tell me if there is ANY! Hope of me getting LTE in Lake Elsinore or Canyon Lake because here we don't even have WiMAX it's BS!

Please reply - Thank You!

If it helps any, I heard from a very high up reliable source that the IE will start happening really fast. In fact, it is supposed to be 100% complete before LA and OC. They just got the jump on us now. There are a lot of gaps in LA county. You go downtown Pasadena, and no coverage. None.

It is also interested that that one speck is where the Sprint Store is up in Victorville. Hmmm....

Great to hear this. Is this source sprint?

Too far to go up there and map. For now, I'll try to map by the 71, 60, 10. Etc.

Yeah I map from 60fwy Archibald (Ontario) exit to the 15fwy Diamond Drive (Lake Elsinore) every now and then. I'll be excited to actually see LTE on the map, soon hopefully.

60% of the time it works every time!

If you read your previous post about the service, it sounded way overly angry over phone service. I was making light of that. It was meant for humor. Nothing personal.

It's fine I was just taking it as another "mom" joke and it was pissing me off no harm done & sorry for the angry come back and I know my post sounded angry but true fully I actually am kinda mad when i'm on the go or work or whatever my data speeds drop to like 0.01-0.12 Mbps anywhere in that range, but at my house I get around 1.50 - 2.50 MBPS but what good is that if i have WIFI? I have had LTE a few times in Fullerton and it's a truly great experience and totally different experience in fact its amazing I was getting 25-30 MBPS Down & about 5-9 MBPS upload and even though my WIFI is faster it felt like it loaded it faster anyways I don't know it's just my input and I know I'm only one person but I know everyone here wants LTE!

It's gonna happen. Just takes time. I think most people don't know that a lot of it ins't Sprint. If sprint could, it would all have been done by now. A lot of it is waiting for subcontractors as well as for permits. Permits are crazy, submit the application then wait on the city. They may have to have a meeting about it first. Can take weeks or months. Then they may demand revisions, or just say no. Then you start over again. Trust me when I tell you that the permitting part is the biggest headache. That is why some areas take way longer than others. Just look at Pasadena. On Rosemead and Foothill you are covered. South Pas and San Marino, nada. Because they we will very demanding about permits.

so for those of you who are frustrated by the slow pace of the network upgrades, don't forget to vote for smaller government next time you have the chance

according to Sensorly, and reports on this site, tower SB33XC093 (in Victorville) is now LTE - but why doesn't it show as 4g in the latest NV Sites Complete map?

There can be many reasons. The biggest could be that the Inspector didn't get their report in before the weekend, and therefore Robert couldn't post it yet. Or there could be something else that Sprint's inspector found wrong and hasn't approved it yet. I look for acceptance to take place this next week.

Went to Pechanga last night and it's the first time I saw 4G on my phone. I was standing on the top level of the parking structure when I noticed it. I did not have any 4G inside so I didn't get to see how fast things were.

I am behind on IE area updates. Will get them posted today or tomorrow. Additionally, sometimes sites are live for testing before acceptance. We post sites after acceptance. We rarely hear of inspections prior to acceptance.

Looks like someone did some more mapping up in Victorville. Very nice. It would be great if someone could do some mapping around Pchanga as well. I am going to do some mapping around the 210 today and see if we have anything new going on.

FancyyFootwork, SeroFred, runagun, UNLISTEDCREW, et al - please stop getting butt hurt and replying over stupid posts - it's the internet - someone always gets butt hurt. Replying just cheapens this topic, as no one wants to read about why you got butt hurt or if someone has poor grammar. We just want to read about how the San Bernardino and Riverside markets are getting updated ... so please - just stick to the topic and ignore the static ... please ....

So Excited. After many patient months, this morning, April 1st, I woke to an LTE indicator on my phone. Where? Rancho Cucamonga: at Beryl and Wilson (the tower is in Heritage Park). Tonight I ran a speed test and got 20m down, 6m up. I sure hope this isn't just a temporary test. Whohoooo!!

Nothing shows yet on Sensorly's maps. I have an iPhone, so come on over all you Android users. let's get mapping!

Thank you Sprint !!!! Well done, and keep going.

    • Excuse my rookie comments here, but after enabling *#73#, it seems that the rainbow sim V2? requires n70 (I turned it off along with n71 - was hoping to track n66) to be available else it switches to T-Mobile.  So this confirms my suspicion that you need to be close to a site to get on Dish.  Have no idea why they don't just use plmn. To test, I put it into a s21 ultra, rebooted twice, came up on T-Mobile (no n70 on s21).  Tried to manually register on 313340, but it did not connect (tried twice). I am on factory unlocked firmware but used a s22 hack to get *#73# working.  Tried what you were suggesting with a T-Mobile sim partially installed, but that was very unstable with Dish ( I think they had figured that one out).  [edit: and now I see Boost sent me a successful device swap notice which says I can now begin to use my new device.  Sigh.  Will try again later and wait for this message - too impatient.]
    • Hopefully this indicates T-Mobile hasn't completely abandoned mmwave and/or small cells? But then again this is the loop, so take that as you will. Hopefully now that most macro activity is done (besides rural colo/builds), they will start working on small cells.
    • This has been approved.. https://www.cnet.com/tech/mobile/fcc-approves-t-mobiles-deal-to-purchase-mint-mobile/
    • In the conference call they had two question on additional spectrum. One was the 800 spectrum. They are not certain what will happen, thus have not really put it into their plans either way (sale or no sale). They do have a reserve level. Nationwide 800Mhz is seen as great for new technologies which I presume is IOT or 5g slices.  T-Mobile did not bite on use of their c-band or DOD.  mmWave rapidly approaching deadlines not mentioned at all. FWA brushes on this as it deals with underutilized spectrum on a sector by sector basis.  They are willing to take more money to allow FWA to be mobile (think RV or camping). Unsure if this represents a higher priority, for example, FWA Mobile in RVs in Walmart parking lots working where mobile phones need all the capacity. In terms of FWA capacity, their offload strategy is fiber through joint ventures where T-Mobile does the marketing, sales, and customer support while the fiber company does the network planning and installation.  50%-50% financial split not being consolidated into their books. I think discussion of other spectrum would have diluted the fiber joint venture discussion. They do have a fund which one use is to purchase new spectrum. Sale of the 800Mhz would go into this. It should be noted that they continue to buy 2.5Ghz spectrum from schools etc to replace leases. They will have a conference this fall  to update their overall strategies. Other notes from the call are 75% of the phones on the network are 5g. About 85% of their sites have n41, n25, and n71, 90% 5g.  93% of traffic is on midband.  SA is also adding to their performance advantage, which they figure is still ahead of other carriers by two years. It took two weeks to put the auction 108 spectrum to use at their existing sites. Mention was also made that their site spacing was designed for midrange thus no gaps in n41 coverage, while competitors was designed for lowband thus toggles back and forth for n77 also with its shorter range.
    • The manual network selection sounds like it isn't always scanning NR, hence Dish not showing up. Your easiest way to force Dish is going to be forcing the phone into NR-only mode (*#*#4636#*#* menu?), since rainbow sims don't support SA on T-Mobile.
