I don't yet have LTE in St Thomas and I have an iPhone 5, is there anything that I should do in preparation for LTE? Will I need to take my phone to the sprint store to get PR LTE enable?

Thanks

no special preparations needed. Just sit tight and use it as you normally would until LTE is deployed.

are there any special steps required to get NetMonitor to display the towers? I've run it, and doesn't display any towers around me.

thanks guys

When that happened to me, I just turn my gps on and try to get a lock.. after that just let them collect the towers info..

Sometimes I need to zoom in/out so it shows me the towers

Please keep in mind that tower locations can be highly inaccurate when using netmonitor/opensignal.

I just got LTE in my mothers house in Puerto Nuevo. Just one bar though.

LTE is not measured with bars. You could be connecting to a LTE tower 40 feet from you and be connected to voice to a tower 1 mile away from you and it will only show the voice signal.

We have found that the iPhone does display LTE signal strength in bars, since it can only use one antenna at a time.

Well Claro Puerto Rico yesterday launch its 4g LTE service ,in the initial phase ; san juan ponce and mayaguez, 19 towns total. In the first quarter of 2013 they expect to covers the entire island. I hope Sprint surprise then in the initial lunch.........

I was the one who mapped the campus in sensorly! :D I only manage to get LTE from Gonzalez Pato to the Sports complex, no LTE in the McManus area or the library.

When I go into Data Management ##3282# under advanced, it says LTE disabled on my phone even though its on LTE/CDMA. Should it be like that?

I noticed that I have the same issue. Is there any way to change that parameter to LTE Enable? My PRL version is 25009

I'm not sure what the setting is for, but I was able to connect to lte with it set to disabled.

Prior to the Jelly Bean update, it was set to enabled.
