I have a feeling that the next time I pass through BK or the Bronx coverage is going to be the exact same way it was the last time I was out there . SPOTTY!

If you did, it's more than likely just placebo. It's been there the whole time, but you've tricked yourself into believing it just got turned on.

Not really. For most of us who have already been experiencing it, it's the same, but for people who had no idea, news to them!

So this just tells me I won't notice anything different for the next few months in Manhattan and Queens.

I don't get how you can deduce that from today. It's not like they are just going to stop deployment.

Not really. It just means that Brooklyn and the Bronx have towers in enough areas that they consider it complete. Lets that number is 75%. And let's say queens and manhattan are at the 30% mark. It will still be deployed more and more. But u gotta was till 75 until its (official)

Yes I know they won't stop deployment. What I meant was that the pace at which they are deploying won't change in Queens and Manhattan due to this launch. I was hoping that all of the sites that went offline recently comes on at launch and that would free up the people to work in Manhattan and Queens more regularly. But with nothing being different after launch other then being able to call in for having no LTE, that won't make work faster in other boros.

I really don't understand how or why Sprint went from deploying LTE at a super fast paste to this sluggy taking 10-15years paste of deployment . This slowness is gonna work against them in the long run cause mean while they're taking their time they're also losing customers who became impatient . They need to speed it up *claps hands rapidly*

LTE is deployed just as fast as before. The only difference is that it is not as noticeable because there are many towers completed already. I have a hard time trying to point out which individual towers got upgraded because so many of them are upgraded now.

BTW, you live in Elmont, right? Every carrier has trouble getting LTE in Elmont. My mother's Verizon iPhone 5 only had 1 bar. Apparently permitting is not easy there. Not even "super fast" T-Mobile has LTE there.

P.S. I think that you meant pace, not paste.

My friend has T-Mobile & she gets 3 Bars & so do my friends who have Verizon they also get 2-3 bars . On 3G I get 3 bars all around the town unless im close to the tower right down the block from me but my being closer doesn't improve service not one bit -_- .

Turns out Sprint has more than just the Bronx and Brooklyn on their list. They also have Flushing, Jamaica, Staten Island, and Yonkers.

I thought Staten Island was to "recked" for Service upgrades.

That's interesting, Jamaica's LTE coverage is hardly healthy according to Sensorly, and there are large swaths of it without any LTE coverage at all.

And Lol @ Queens neighborhoods being launched individually. 2 down, 764338 or so more to go.

Yonkers may be on the list, but I can tell you that there is still a lot of work to be done here. The tower next to my home has yet to be marked 3g complete, and from what I can see, has had new panels installed since last summer.... 4g coverage in Yonkers in my opinion is about 40% complete.
