I wouldn't mind a little more (or some/any) penetration in my house. {insert witty pun here}

While the radio is much better than my gs3, i miss digiblurs Prl prioritizing 800. I find the signal is just strong enough so it bounces back between CDMA and 800mhz in my concrete building

What's the difference between the premier and regular Prl?

Is there any adverse consequences to flashing the boot. IMG of the g2 onto a nexus 5?

Thanks

you restart afterwards so it boots into the normal boot file. The boot.IMG isn't flashed but just a temp boot code. Its not permanent. Idr the differences. They all worked the same in my area. Just enabled the scanning of different area 800 sid which helped me connect as Ericsson set the 1x800 here to one in Washington state

Any recommended cases, particularly that work with wireless charger? I'm looking at getting this one: http://www.wirelessground.com/ballistic-nexus-5-sg-maxx-series-case-with-holster-black.html or http://www.wirelessground.com/seidio-nexus-5-dilex-combo-with-metal-kickstand-blue.html

I caught this one on sale. I have read numerous places the wires charges works with it. I think it just looks sharp.

I have this case on my Nexus 5 and it does in fact work with the Wireless Charger sold by the Play Store.  You do have to find the charging  "Sweet Spot" which can at times be tricky, but it will charge fine.

I popped for a wireless charger for home and work. On the note 2 the USB port has held up fine but my Evo had it go bad 3 times. I had something like 6 even.

Have you had any issues with it affecting the camera? I read numerous reviews stating it did so I got the ultra hybrid when it went on sale (originally wanted the neo).

I'm hoping it's actually sooner. A guy on XDA ordered the same model the day before me and it still shows it as leaving on the 7th but UPS sent him a notice that it's out for delivery. He did next day shipping, I did standard so mine could be here between now and the 13th.

 Hah, another S4GRU member obsessively checking the Nexus 5 Waiting Room lol. I purchased mine the 15th, right after you.  Black 16gb.

I'm having issues with my Nexus 5 with typing and especially the swype feature. I use the stock swype and for the last couple weeks it freezes up a little during typing and does crappy auto corrects? Anyone having this issues?

Nope. Swiping on the Google keyboard still works great for me.

    • A heavy n41 overlay as an acquisition condition would be a win for customers, and eventually a win for T-Mobile as that might be enough to preclude VZW/AT&T adding C-Band for FWA due to spreading the market too thinly (which means T-Mobile would just have local WISPs/wireline ISPs as competition). USCC spacing (which is likely for contiguous 700 MHz LTE coverage in rural areas) isn't going to be enough for contiguous n41 anyway, and I doubt they'll densify enough to get there.
    • Boost Infinite with a rainbow SIM (you can get it SIM-only) is the cheapest way, at $25/mo, to my knowledge; the cheaper Boost Mobile plans don't run on Dish native. Check Phonescoop for n70 support on a given phone; the Moto G 5G from last year may be the cheapest unlocked phone with n70 though data speeds aren't as good as something with an X70 or better modem.
    • Continuing the USCC discussion, if T-Mobile does a full equipment swap at all of USCC's sites, which they probably will for vendor consistency, and if they include 2.5 on all of those sites, which they probably will as they definitely have economies of scale on the base stations, that'll represent a massive capacity increase in those areas over what USCC had, and maybe a coverage increase since n71 will get deployed everywhere and B71 will get deployed any time T-Mobile has at least 25x25, and maybe where they have 20x20. Assuming this deal goes through (I'm betting it does), I figure I'll see contiguous coverage in the area of southern IL where I was attempting to roam on USCC the last time I was there, though it might be late next year before that switchover happens.
    • Forgot to post this, but a few weeks ago I got to visit these small cells myself! They're spread around Grant park and the surrounding areas, but unfortunately none of the mmwave cells made it outside of the parks along the lake into the rest of downtown. I did spot some n41 small cells around downtown, but they seemed to be older deployments limited to 100mhz and performed poorly.
    • What is the cheapest way to try Dish's wireless network?  Over the past year I've seen them add their equipment to just about every cell site here, I'm assuming just go through Boost's website?  What phones are Dish native?
