I've noticed lately that when I map, it shows up quickly when zoomed way in but not when zoomed out. It's been days since I've seen it update. I just assume that it's a back up on the server side.

I found that un-checking "map freshness" in the general section of the settings menu largely corrected my issue of Sensorly not updating for a day or more at certain zoom levels.  It says the downside is slower loads, but I haven't really noticed a significant change in performance other than I see updates within minutes at all zoom levels now.

Sensorly may not have databased Sprint's CDMA1X 800 SIDs.

is there a way to let them know so we can start showing off area's of sprint only coverage (few and far between but they are out there) like where i live i get decent voice and text service but verizon and att have zero ziltch nada all those phones see is a nice little X where bars are supposed to be or is it something that they have to request from sprint? and since sprint hasn't officially anounced 1x800 voice coverage they don't want apps like sensorly to show their coverage hand just yet

I am not sure.  S4GRU has a good relationship with Sensorly, but you also have to realize that Sensorly is a French start up.  Working with CDMA2000 is, well, foreign to them.  So, I would not expect CDMA1X 800 to get special treatment -- if it gets mapped at all.  And if it does, it will get erroneously tagged as Sprint "2G."

just a thought thanks for the heads up i didn't know they were a french start up and even if it is labled 2g for strictly data sake cause 1x800 has almost no data capacity i would still like to map new area's of sprints voice and text service

Like I said, if CDMA1X 800 gets mapped at all, it will just be included with CDMA1X 1900.  VZW and AT&T both operate dual band Cellular 850 MHz, PCS 1900 MHz networks in most markets, but Sensorly makes no distinctions between those bands.

Are there any native 1x Only areas on Sprint left? Last Spring I went on college trips in rural Pennsylvania and it was all 1x. Now I am looking at Sensorly and Sprint's official maps and these areas have been mapped over green for EVDO. It's good to see that Sprint might actually have no 1x only areas left pretty soon. (Besides at the edge of service areas of course).

A big chunk of Carbon County, PA is still 1x...near Palmerton, Lehighton, Tamaqua, etc.

Is there way to display speed test results on the Sensorly webpage or is that a feature exclusive to the mobile app?

I think it is only mobile right now. I wish that you could see speed results and signal while zooming further out. It'd be easier to see how the whole area is doing instead of just a small section.

Question for y'all... Just for the heck of it, I was looking at the WiMAX coverage on Sensorly (Cleveland Ohio metro area), and I was curious about speed tests too. The problem is that I can't find any speed tests in the entire region. Is it even possible to plot a speed test on the WiMAX map, or has nobody run a speed test in forever.

      Kind of amazing that T-Mobile is still holding onto that speed title despite Verizon all but killing off lowband 5G on their network. While Verizon is mostly being evaluated on mmWave and C-band performance, T-Mobile and AT&T's average 5G speeds include their massive lowband 5G networks that are significantly slower.

      Yup. Very true. We were originally on an Everything Data 1500 Plan, which got Unlimited Minutes thanks to Marcelo's "Loyalty Benefits" offer. We then switched to Unlimited Freedom (with the Free HD add-on that Sprint originally wanted $20/month per line for.... remember that?) because the pricing was better with "iPhone for Life", vs. the "Loyalty Credit" for staying on a Legacy Plan. After that, I ran the numbers and switched us over to Sprint MAX, especially for the international travel benefits. There's absolutely no reason for us to switch to Go5G Plus or Go5G Next if we're going to do BYOD by purchasing from Apple/Samsung/Google directly as we've been doing. These new plans aren't priced for current customers to switch to. They're priced for new customers, where they throw in a free line, etc. It's gone from "Uncarrier" to "Carrier". What a shame.

      Strange business model that they keep around all these pricing plans. 1000s of plans per carrier is reportedly not uncommon.  Training customer support must be a nightmare. Even MVNOs have legacy plans. A downside of their contract mentality I guess. Best to change contracts during a recession. But then all carriers try to squeeze out legacy plan benefits as they grow old.

      Everything "Uncarrier" is becoming "Carrier" again. Because of the Credit Limit that T-Mobile put on our account for no reason at all (and wouldn't change/update the last time I checked all the way up to the CEO), I don't plan on buying/upgrading our iPhones through T-Mobile. I'm going through Apple directly. Looks like I'll be going through Google and Samsung directly for our other lines for upgrades. Also, we're staying on Sprint Max given the ridiculous pricing for Go5G Plus. On Sprint Max, we currently pay for our Plan: $260 for 7 Voice Lines $25 for two Wearable Lines. (One is $10/Month. The other is $15/Month because the AutoPay discount only applies up to 8 lines.) Total: $285/Month vs. Go5G Plus (Per the Broadband Facts "nutrition label" on the T-Mobile Website): https://www.t-mobile.com/commerce/cell-phone-plans $360 - ($5 AutoPay Discount x 7 Voice Lines) = $325 The Watch Plans show as either $12/Month or $15/Month: https://www.t-mobile.com/cell-phone-plans/affordable-data-plans/smartwatches So this is about the same for the wearables as what we're paying now. Overall, it's quite more than we're paying now to switch plans. Ridiculous....
