S4GRU
And not a single mention of the Buffalo market, even though the local guys say we're supposed to have it by October... AdmiralSirJohn
Workers and equipment are mobilizing now in the Buffalo and Rochester markets. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk I do hope so. The local guys did say our speeds down here in Chautauqua County would be better than Buffalo for much of the year...
bmattox79
I just hope the weather breaks here soon, it has been cold for so long, no sign of spring yet, and i know from past experience that work gets completed much slower when its cold, im sure ten fold when ur on a tower 100 to 200 feet in the air. Once the weather warms up around here im sure things will move even faster!
E-Jason35
Is there any word on when any part of Utah will get NV if at all?
JimBob
Is there any word on when any part of Utah will get NV if at all? Interactive map of NV sites completed and in progress can be found here, but you might need to become a Sponsor in order to access: http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/517-nv-sites-complete/
lordsutch
Utah is a later-round market. Certainly it will get NV, along with every other "native" Sprint market (the affiliates are a bit more up in the air), but "when" is not clear yet. There's no official word but pretty much every market should be well underway by end of 2013 and most will be underway sooner, including Utah. On Utah specifically, another member has dug up some info on building permits in Salt Lake County that's available to sponsors at http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/3353-utah-nv-build-permit-map/ So while I can't really say what the member has found in exact terms, I will say that it is clear that Sprint's contractors are already active in the market doing some site work; that doesn't however mean that backhaul's in place or that new antennas are installed yet (it could be cabinets or electrical feed or any one of the other parts of the site upgrade that has to come together). Fatmouse
And not a single mention of the Buffalo market, even though the local guys say we're supposed to have it by October... Rumors (fairly reliable ones) have the NV rollout schedule for Buffalo pegged for the end of April. Hopefully by then we'll get an accurate assessment as to when it is actually going to take place. Most of the things that are being said peg the Buffalo market to be done by August, now there wasn't any real specification if it would be done by August or if it would've been done starting by August
AdmiralSirJohn
Yeah, I figured it was something like that. If the local guys aren't spouting total BS (and all the complainers' observations pan out), they'll start down in the Southern Tier (which is good for me, since I live in Jamestown) and leave the City of Buffalo proper for last. If it's the other way around, then I'll be stuck in 2G land for a loooooooooooooooong time...

So far, nothing yet. If I do see sites in progress I will let everyone know.

Thanks for the info. I'm trying to be patient with this 3G but at speeds of 100kbps or slower at peak times it gets harder and harder.. Allen3697
So I might be attending college in Moorhead, Minnesota within a few years, and I'm planning on switching to Sprint so I was wondering when the Dakotas Market would start. I found an article mentioning the Dakotas market was next to the Minnesota market, but after that, I can't find anything mentioning the Dakotas? Estimated start time?? Considering that network vision will be pretty close to done by the end of this year will a little work going into 2014, U will have no problems having lte, voice on 800 and lte 800 by the time u goto school up in moorhead,mn. Dakotas are a third round market and will be starting soon, it is a small market. So it won't take long once it starts
