iight not to burst muffs bubble..but next tower to fire up is mines..i actually got to talk to the techs and he read me all the notes...he say they haveee to do my tower cuz there is no lte on my side..told me is one by one..bovoni...back town   smithbay back town...hull bay last

Actually my coverage is pretty damn good since I been using the nexus 5.  I still prefer my one but the nexus give me the additional coverage I didn't think was even possible.  As far as those techs though, not sure what they mean but hull bay and smith bay doesn't have their own towers.  Smith bay gets service from the redhook tower and the tabour and harmony tower(this is the tower with on the country side with lte) on top of cassi hill.

Full 4G in Lionel Robert Stadiums, in town.

Probably have buildings blocking the tower's signal from reaching your direction. I'm getting 4g at the st.Thomas hospital.

The tower overlooking cahs is the one servicing that general area.

Still only able to grab 4g near the window at my house in Smith bay.. I work in red hook. Nothing there

If you really want lte coverage do yourself a favor and get a nexus 5.  I love my one and still prefer it over my nexus but just like you my one will only get 4g by the window and its hit or miss anywhere else in the house where as my nexus get lte everywhere in the house effortlessly.

Hi guys Puerto Rico here. I also buy a Nexus 5 but not read that SVLTE is not available for this device and Sprint will no longer support this on Triband phones like Nexus 5, LG G2, HTC One Max and S4 mini. Say good bye to voice and data simultaneously until VoLTE. This is bad. That is an option really important for me. I prefer the Note 3 that support voice and data simultaneously. Thanks to the 24/7 Sprint Knowledge base Robert for this information. But is late for me right know and I own another bad phone. LTE in Puerto Rico metro area is OK with the Nexus. But do not expect Triband soon in Puerto Rico. I think the 800 band for Sprint is still with problems and maybe they don't have 2600mhz in the island. We need to way.

I also point that Google voice still not working in Puerto Rico and Google Navigation Beta either. If you set up Nexus 5 without Sprint service first Google Now cards will not work. You need to reset and configure again with Sprint data and the Cards will work fine. I don't believe it but it's happen to me. Take care.

Glad to read that LTE on Virgin Islands are complete and working. In Puerto Rico is good but slow compare with the competition Claro, AT&T, Tmobile and Open in Puerto Rico. But for the price paid and variety of hardware is still good.

Hi Sam. Have you considered selling your Nexus 5 and buying a Note 3 instead?Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk

Not right now. I would like to play and take advance of 4.4. I also have the Note 3 and the iPhone 5. Only this three haha. When I get bore of one switch to the other. The Note 3 is the best of the three.

Do anybody notice that Google.com thinks your located in Puerto rico, or do this only happen on 4g?

When on Innovative cable Google thinks I am in Port of Spain. They think my static IP might have been owned by a different ISP before.  It's okay right now but I have had calendar issues in the past and it was a meeting with a google rep. :(

Not that I know of. Had LTE at Lindquist on Sunday, but I hadn't tried out there before, so not sure if that's new. Nothing new near airport or Magen's, though

I go running on the road over lindquist.  I barely get a 3G signal when i am right at the edge.  Must be that hill above Red Hook again blocking the signal.

  1. Still have zero signal in my house
  2. I'm still mad about having virtual no 3g or 4g working signal in san juan during the half marathon last month.  Wife's samsung galaxy s3 never skipped a beat.
  3. signal would fade in and out more than usual in Chicagoland (northern suburbs) last week

It's nice to see a consistent 4g signal in places that were lacking before both here and on the mainland but with their extensive gaps in coverage it makes it really difficult to do certain things in a moving vehicle.  You can only change your cellular settings so many times without going bonkers.

    • T-Mobile seems to be paying close attention to how much of B2 they refarm for NR, as on this trip down to South Padre Island I saw both 20x20 n25 and 20x20 B2 (but not both simultaneously) at various points on the trip. At South Padre itself, seems like someone else has 2.5 GHz licensed so the n41 setup here is 20+80 MHz. Speeds are still decent, but VZW has 100+60 MHz n77 live (and AT&T has some 80+40).
    • I called T Mobile the same day I came home from work and started encountering issues. They told me one site was down for maintenance with no estimated date of completion. This was back on March 15, 2023. I contacted revik2 through Reddit and told me it was tower ID BQ04933A. Can you see if this tower was decommissioned or still operational?
    • Two two devices, both are somewhat recent as far as age... tablet can't get the speed that the phone gets sitting side by side... probably the tablet doesn't have CA.. not sure. Galaxy tab S7 FE.. and galaxy s23 ultra
    • No decommissioned sites that I can find. It looks like that intersection is served by two different sites and is right at the edge of cell for both. The only thing I can think of that would cause such a drastic change in coverage for you is if T-Mobile changed where their sectors are placed but I'm not seeing any permit for that on any of the nearby sites.
    • I live in Borough Park near 18th ave and 61st street. Anyone know if T Mobile decommissioned a tower around this area about a year ago? I went from having T Mobile Home Internet to nearly zero service. I had to return the modem and switch back to Optimum.  My service is also horrible out here. Calls will drop and very slow data. At least in my apartment I use T Mobile Wifi calling and the reason I don’t leave T Mobile is because I’m grandfathered on Sprint Unlimited Plus and I love my benefits and perks, but I wish T Mobile would improve the service in my block.
