Still only able to grab 4g near the window at my house in Smith bay.. I work in red hook. Nothing there

Travel safe, have fun! Well, since that brief joy I had with 4G the other morning in Smith Bay, I haven't seen it since.. Still can't update my prl.. Blah blah.. I'm seriously against the sense ROMs so I went back to a CM variant.. It's stated in the specs for this ROM that lte is fine and working.. (Yes I know I can't do prl on CM and have to flash back to sense to perform it, yet I still get error 1012) I experienced the 4G 2 days ago on a sense ROM. I'd really hate to think that being on an AOSP based ROM is preventing me from the juice... Guess I'll have to nandroid back to sense to test but I really don't want to... I did break over 300k on 3G yesterday morning though... Kinda cool Edit! On a whim I placed the phone in the window and toggled airplane mode.. Instant lte connection! On a CM rom! OK.. Now to rewire my house the charger can reach the window...

UPDATE! Put my phone in the window and was able to grab 4G. Steady... Only 1 bar. Take the phone anywhere off it, 3G. I'm freaking out!

Ok... Story time. Can't update my prl. Error 1012... Call sprint They set some crap up and say to turn my phone off for a minute and restart.. By this time I had walked to around lake's chicken. Phone came back on... There it was. In all its glory, THE 4G LTE ICON on my status bar. First motion was to download the speedtest app. By the time I got to the play store it went back to 3G and I still can't update prl and now it says to activate my device... BUT! I SAW THE 4G ICON AFTER 3 YEARS WITH SPRINT AND LTE PHONES...!!! I probably shouldn't have run into the street dancing and making noises a man my age shouldn't, but I did! Edit: haven't seen it since... (Angry face)

I'm in Smith Bay. Still no hint of lte. Rode the safari to Redhook, eyes glued to the status bar.. nothing. Is there a new PRL? Would that even matter? Running Bad Boys Rom. I'm so anxious!

This is ridiculous... Data dropping literally every 10 seconds.. just cycling. On off on off.. can't do anything productive like this. Am I eligible for some downtime credit with Sprint if I complain?

My data has been steady, no drops. Only this morning has it been doing this.. odd. I tried reverting to an older radio to see if that helps but no. Man I wish I knew someone that was doing the work for a clear answer.

Data going in and out every 2 minutes. All morning.. Smith bay.

Anyone have any news for VI? Just got a One. The wait, without any information is maddening.

Ok I've about reached my wits end... What is the situation on STT? Can't we get any legitimate information in regards to actual work being done or even another horribly inaccurate ETA? Have had a 4G phone over a year yet have never once experienced it. (wish one of the actual crew was a member here... I would be!)

Smith Bay here.. been following this crap since I moved here a year ago. Last couple weeks been awful for service. Dropped calls. No data. Constant roaming.. people I know on AT&T have the same issues. Heard a story bout someone cut a line and knocked the east end out for days.. I'm back now but very slow. Sprint did credit my account for the time out of service but I don't want that. I want truthful honest updates of progress and truthful honest estimations of when I should experience the 4g I've been paying for but not enjoying for over a year .. my phone has 4g in its name! Have yet to enjoy it at all... I truly appreciate this thread and the work put into it but there's got to be a way to figure out what is exactly being done and at what pace its being done at. Hundreds of dollars a month and I know nothing! I'm about to scream. If one worker or someone involved that actually gave a crap about us would blog or tweet the honest truth about our situation I'd be thrilled.. Gimmie my service and/or information!

I've been hitting 1.8 all day today in Smith Bay, St Thomas. Anxious to see the overnight speeds. Finally I can Netflix! Can't wait for LTE!
