  1. Sounds like the networks just overloaded. Doesn't sound all that different from what people in other areas are experiencing when the backhaul can't keep up with the demand. Unfortunately I don't think it is due to any work being done in the area. However, if you speeds suddenly jump up to 1.5+Mbps, let us know, because that means something is going on!
  2. Yes than you. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2 That link didn't seem to work right, but I added the image in the post above.
  3. There were two threads here by accident, just merged them together. There are a few more posts here now. Do you mean which market an area belongs in? We have a map of all the markets here: http://s4gru.com/index.php?/page/index.html/_/articles/nationwide-sprint-market-map-is-here-r31 We do have maps of all Sprint towers for each market, as well as maps of currently accepted NV 3G and 4G sites across the country. You can gain access by becoming a sponsor of the site. You can find more information on that here: Information about S4GRU Sponsorship
  4. That part. Yes, there are still that many towers yet to be upgraded. We haven't had an update for a couple of weeks, so it's possible things have changed, but as of Nov. 26 that was the sites that have been upgraded.
  5. If you put them in the public folder, you can link them here, or upload them to a photo hosting site like photobucket or flickr.
  6. Really? When I went to Joplin a couple weeks ago, eHRPD had been active here in Springfield for several weeks, and was active for my whole trip through Joplin. Not that it's really that important when it comes to the physical upgrades, but it was there.
  7. Once a site is done, they are leaving it on. If they are off, then it means there is still work or testing going on. I don't know if it has anything to do with being a quarter behind, but in all other markets which are underway, once a site is done, they leave it on, even in "unannounced" markets.
  8. I lived in Kansas City for a few months after LTE was launched there, and it was fantastic. Now I'm in Springfield, MO, which will probably get LTE after you do. But, Sprint will have the best network in the country when this is done, maybe not coverage wise, but it will be the most modern and won't get overloaded as quickly as Verizon's LTE has or AT&T's will. Plus, there is 800 LTE coming next year, and Clear's "hotspot" LTE network for high capacity areas that will be out any other network speed wise. Unlimited won't be going away anytime soon, and the prices can't change much if Sprint wants to continue to compete, so I think you are safe. If you can make it a couple more months you should start seeing improvements.
  9. Possibly. It wasn't skipped, something is just taking longer, or they haven't gotten to it yet. It shouldn't be too long now though.
  10. Or the fact that Sprint users seem to be unnaturally attached to Sensorly.... lol
  11. The NV plan is upgrading the whole Sprint network in roughly two years. We are getting close to the end of year one, they expect to be nearing completion by this time next year. Work is underway in Michigan, but it's not far enough along yet for Sprint to advertise it. I would expect Sprint to add parts of Michigan to it's "LTE is coming" list later this month or in January. You should see LTE within 6 months. It will be well worth the wait.
  12. That is the norm with NV 3G. Probably means LTE isn't too far behind.
  13. Please see this thread: http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/972-network-visionlte-boston-market-all-of-massachusetts/ For more updates on the MA market.
  14. Whoever told you you would be getting LTE last year was outright lying. Sprint didn't even announce the LTE project until last year as far as I know, and there was no information that said anyone would be getting LTE until this past summer. You will get LTE, but it probably won't be until sometime in the Spring, possibly late Winter.
  15. The yellow "dots" are indicative of Sprint's current coverage. Every Sprint tower will receive NV upgrades, which means improved 3G and 4G LTE, as well as 800 SMR (the voice part).
  16. That doesn't look like Sprint panels, but you certainly are very close to get those speeds! Perhaps you can use the sponsor maps to better define where the tower is?
  17. Odd, I can watch Hulu/Netflix all day long with no problem with other users online, and have never seen the download speeds drop below 2Mbps, and that's during the afternoon. Evening and nights I always see 8-10+.
  18. They do? I've never seen that happen at my parents, they have been using Clear for home phone and internet since 2010.
  19. It may be just be that permitting, access and what not is easier on sites in the Bronx. So, they get done first. The other boroughs may not be completed the same way. But again, that's speculation, we'll just have to steer what happens. Sent from my GS3 using Tapatalk 2
  20. There's coverage, yes, but there are still a very large number of towers to be upgraded, even in the Bronx. Why they're all concentrated there right now, no idea.
  21. Fairfield is in the San Francisco market, so it gets upgraded along with SF. There are closer to 15 towers in the city, and they will all be upgraded over the next several weeks. Sprint is upgrading entire markets, which generally include at least one large city, and then all of the other areas surrounding them, even rural areas. This is why a small city might get upgraded but a larger one nearby has to wait a few months longer.
  22. Based on that image, I would say that Sprint is on the top rack there. Sprint doesn't use RRUs on it's legacy network, which is what would be showing in a Google image. The second one is AT&T, which would only leave the top.
  23. Sorry, but what is that app in the second image? Thanks!
  24. I hear ya on the 3G network, I don't bother to use it really during the day here. And Springfield's not exactly a big town.... I've used 312MB of data since Nov 1st on the network, but near 4GB on WiFi. However, my family from Kansas City, and since the LTE roll out has had a little time to mature up there, it's fantastic to use. Sprint did stumble when it came to WiMax (Clear really), but the LTE rollout will actually happen. And quickly too, considering they really only got underway this summer, and expect to be nearing completion by the end of next year.
  25. Sprint is replacing it's entire network, and plans to be close to done by the end of next year. No city with current Sprint service will be left out. Work will probably start in your area sometime late this winter or near Springtime. If it's incredibly important to have 4G soon, then switch if you have to. However, once it's up and running, Sprint will have the best, most modern network in the country, and their LTE will not get bogged down as quickly as Verizon's has, or AT&T's will.
