Network Vision/LTE - Missouri Market (includes St. Louis)

All Sprint Ericsson sites have 3 RRUs. The high capacity sites have 4. If you see a site with 1, it is not Sprint.

Confirmed donut, I don't understand the point. Also got 05610101 again on the clark bridge/367 til 94.

Did you have any trouble connecting / keeping connected / re-connecting?  I'm just curious if your experience with the site was anything like mine...

Yes, on both. Couldn't connect to the TopOfTheTower site coming from the north so I drove west on Chambers and picked up an SCID so I could authenticate with it. Circled back and sure enough right before 367 i got 05626A03 with -116. It dropped to -95 and dropped off completely.

Samsung markets can have 1 per panel. Anyway it's no biggie.

I don't think anyone yesterday was able to help confirm if these are NV panels at 64/40 and Mason:

I can go back today with a proper camera if needed.

I have yet to see NV equipment in person since I spend most of my time in Chesterfield...which STILL doesn't seem to have any LTE (except for fleeting glimpses across the river).

I have seen pictures of rooftop sites where the RRU's are mounted at or below the edge of the roof so you can see the antenna but the RRU's are barely visible. It could be like this but I cannot be sure without a better shot.

I'm going to the baseball game tonight, so I'll be LTE-hunting with the MiFi and debug screen. Hopefully I'll find some Band 41 LTE. :D

We have occasional seats in front of the press box... and used a pair of binoculars to sniff out the Press Box Wifi password hanging on a wall earlier this season. If all else fails, I can surf on the Cardinals' dime. :)

Hey that always works. Thanks for the tip on the wifi password too.

Yes... but St. Louis isn't a Samsung market in the IBEZ... so...

Central Illinois will have 2 RRUs at each site, being a Samsung market, if anyone ever makes their way over there.

If anyone is interested in looking at permits (I know this site was mentioned in the past), search for "Bret Plante" as the first/last name.  His name seems to be on quite a few Sprint related permits.  Some of the 32 results are T-Mobile but quite a few are SPrint.

This probably doesn't give us anything too important but still kinda interesting to take a look at if you are bored.

There are other search variations that will yield more/other Sprint related permits too.

OK finally got proper pics of 64/40 and Mason. From what I've read in the thread on how to spot Sprint RRUs, these do indeed look like that (two RRUs back-to-back next to the two sectors that I could see...I would guess there's a third antenna on the other side of the building).

LTE signal was weak:

Looks like Sprint. Odd there's two RRUs. Perhaps a third out of view? A close look at the connections at the base of the antenna would confirm just to be sure.

Some contractors were kind enough to install some pretty cabinets at the 2nd site in Jacskon MO. It just so happens to be the site that services my house!!!

Which one? PM me the Site ID if you can?

Unfortunately that would mean standing right outside someone's office window to get the shots...Unless someone else wants to try and get a better view or try from the parking lot with a better camera, I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Just picked up LTE in Fairview Heights! Looks like it was the 64 & 159 tower, but I'm not sure. I mapped it on Sensorly and will upload a screenshot of the LTE engineering screen when I get home. They must be testing it though, because it is pretty slow.

I did some mapping of this one today. It seems the southern 2 sectors are extremely overloaded the only speedtest that would go through pulled 253kbps. The northern sector is a horse of a different color as soon as my sector changed to 01 I pulled 25mbps. Sector 01 is a strong sucker too...got it almost all the way to Bethel Mine.

Another note. The site near 159 and Hollywood Heights/Bethel Mine has RRUs up.

Well it looks like Sprint is the only one on the building, so I guess that confirms it. Just wonder where the third RRU is haha.
