transitwatch889
Seems they've added sprint network capable device to the list. Nice to have options! More devices like this should become the norm!http://www.androidcentral.com/nexbit-robin-now-compatible-all-major-us-carriers-addition-sprint Added a link to android authority speaking about it,http://www.technobuffalo.com/2015/09/23/nextbit-robin-confirmed-with-sprint-support-too/

But well I'll be impressed once they ship and reviews backup the claims. bill875
I am very happy to see that Sprint is embracing unlocked devices. Hopefully the One Plus and other devices aren't too far behind.
newboyx
Looking forward to the user thread from users who have trouble activating a phone they bought on Kickstarter on their Sprint account. 5 pages of SIM card skus with screenshots of their conversation with Sprint International. [emoji6] If Moto/Sprint had trouble getting the Pure going on the first week, I can only imagine how a Kickstarter phone will go. Hopefully the One Plus and other devices aren't too far behind. That is not a Sprint issue -- it is a OnePlus issue. And I do not see OnePlus supporting CDMA2000. OnePlus is too Asian centric for that. AJ
Tajustin95
If they tell us that it supports CA band 41 I'll buy it now
S4GRU
It's too bad that the Sprint variant does not include full CCA/RRPP compatibility with inclusion of LTE Bands 5 and 12. They do include them in the AT&T/Tmo variant. Bummer. Using Tapatalk on BlackBerry Z30

I'm wondering how the whole adding and removing apps/data from the cloud works in low coverage or no coverage areas. This seems to require constant WiFi or high speed LTE to be fully functional. burnout8488
Looks like the NextBit Robin will be coming to Sprint now. Anyone planning to get one? I don't see an ETA yet on the CDMA variant, but the GSM version seems to be available for purchase now. https://www.nextbit.com/pages/meet-robin

Even if the device has all the Sprint bands, would Sprint allow it on their network? I haven't seen any confirmation from Sprint. burnout8488
Woops, looks like my thread was merged, didn't see this one. :-) Twospirits: The CDMA version does not appear to support bands 5 & 12 As far as confirmation from Sprint, the CDMA version isn't out yet, so we probably won't hear anything until it's officially on the market. twospirits
opps I stand corrected. I guess my eyes were fixated on the GSM LTE Bands line. My bad. Thanks for spotting it. TS
Trip
I don't see why you would make a phone today that supports Band 26 and not Band 5. That doesn't even make sense. Band 5 is a subset of Band 26. - Trip
Scott
Seems they've added sprint network capable device to the list. Nice to have options! Say goodbye to options. Nextbit has cancelled the CDMA variant.
Overstew
Say goodbye to options. Nextbit has cancelled the CDMA variant. Interesting that they're waiting for so long for carrier coordination. This is probably the same reason a lot of unlocked phones do not support CDMA. If the BYOD policy for Sprint/Verizon were the same as T-Mobile/AT&T, this likely wouldn't happen (and with CSIM, it's entirely possible to replicate the same authentication/sim setup as its GSM partners.) SeanK_
Say goodbye to options. Nextbit has cancelled the CDMA variant. Lame! Guess this goes to show us why some many manufacturers don't want to deal with CDMA.
