Sprint Reportedly Bowing Out of T-Mobile Bid (was "Sprint offer" and "Iliad" threads)

Did someone find the merge thread button? On Tapatalk I was on page 10 earlier today, but now I'm on page 161.

That would be an error. I merged a 60 page thread with 10 page thread the other day when Sprint bowed out of the T-Mobile bidding and Hesse was canned. I probably should've closed both threads and started a new one. That was my bad. That said that gives you about a 70 page thread (and we are at 85 now) a far cry from 161.

Tapatalk only had 10 or so posts per page, so it will be nearly double the number shown on the desktop version of the site.

If Illiad drops out, then you'll see reality get reflected in TMUS stock. I believe the actual value of it if the price isn't inflated would be around $25 billion.

If Illiad drops out and there aren't any suitors, I bet Sprint eventually tries the merger again, but from a much better position than this go-round, both financially and network-wise.

Can't wait until we see these slides in Sprint investor conference calls.

Some T-Mobile guy on Disqus tried to lecture me on the Doppler effect for 2600 MHz.  It was bullshit, and he did not respond to my rebuttal.  But I am curious how much the Doppler shift affects LTE on Shinkansen.  The trains do travel at up to 200 mph, which is three times the 70 mph maximum angular compensated speed that I used in my domestic calculations.

No tapatalk has how many post you set per page 10-50, check your settings.

Or, as I call it, Yabba-dabba-do-talk.  None for me.  Home or mobile, I take my S4GRU straight.  No water back.  No chaser.

At the time, TMobile was at 33 a share in which Sprint was willing to pay 40 a share, than comes Illiad offering 33 a share, than sprint back out, TMobile dropped to 30 a share, and is currently now sitting at 29.82 a share

40 dollar a share had the merger possibility built in. Remember there was regulatory uncertainty and the merger was only a rumor so the price of the stock has to reflect that. Now that the Sprint possibility is gone the price reflects that and the illiad offer and the uncertainty surrounding it.

If Fantasy M&A, is going on :-)

"Fantasy M&A"?  Is that like "Fantasy Island"?  I suppose Masa Son is just the right vertical fit, literally, to say, "Look, Marcelo, de plane, de plane."
