He said my store is not showing any in inventory but if they were he would be able to switch it for me.. I asked him to please put that in his notes and I would call my local sprint store to find out an est. Arrival and would be calling back.. He basically said a pre-order was basically guaranteeing you a phone in case it was a popular phone and sold out in store but not a certain arrival of said phone.. The gentleman i talked to told me the only way to switch it to in-store pick up would be to cancel it and reorder it (but you can't order online right now). This guy was really nice and understood my complaint of having to wait who knows how long for it to ship and I kept repeating the release date was tomorrow and there was no information on mine at all.. He really was trying to be helpful.. I asked if I would be able to get my gift card since I pre-ordered online and he told me yes?? So I don't know.. I was told that they have no information on when the preorders will ship or if they will ship tomorrow or soon after, but it will probably be up to 10 days after Friday. I asked if I could just reserve two to pick up in store but I was told that I cannot cancel or change my order due to it being preordered. This is worse than when I got my mother in law's phone through the store. They couldn't get it activated and told us we could leave and it would activate itself eventually. After the drive home to St Augustine, it still didn't activate so I had to call Sprint CSR to get it to work. It looks like I am better off dealing with Sprint directly from now on. He is lying I got my order cancelled and I pre ordered online just like you did. Called Best Buy mobile, got a very nice lady that tried switching my order to Store Pickup. So she apparently changed my shipping address to my local store, and upped my shipping toExpedited (fastest method) for free. I told her I just want to try to pick up my store's local stock. So she said she'll call her superior or something higher to see if they can do that. So I'll post again once I hear back from them. If anything, I'll get faster shipping and just pick it up in store.
