Notifications for Network Vision Site Acceptance Report Updates thread

For the last couple of weeks I haven't been getting notifications for the Network Vision Site Acceptance Report Updates thread even though it still shows I'm following.  It's the same on the website and on Tapatalk 4.

Is anyone else having this same problem?  I'll probably try to Unfollow then Follow again to see if that helps, just wondering if it's more widespread than just me.

Yeah I have this problem too. Not such a big deal but it exists

Do you have it marked to send you an instantaneous notification? I've received notifications for each update. Including the one today.

Like 4ginnc, occasionally, I am not notified of new posts to threads I am following. I've noticed this for probably about a month now. Yes, all of my notifications are on. Not really a big deal, but it is a nice feature to have working.

mine shows up in the notification list when i click the drop down menu to see other notifications, but the icon itself never shows up that there is a new one if thats the only new one.

This is the same thing that's been happening to me.

Glad to hear I'm not the only one.

Wow, guess this is more widespread than I thought.  I'm wondering if it's something with IP Board since it happens on the website and on Tapatalk for me.

I've unfollowed and then followed the subject thread again so I'll see what happens next time an update is posted.

I had a problem awhile back with a different thread and I noticed that I had a ton of subscriptions.  I dumped the old/not updated posts from there and my notifications came back.

    • Probably a lot of Midwest towers. Slight bias since Nebraska is a weird market, but there are tons of USCC sites that T-Mobile isn't yet co-located on. Think a similar situation in Iowa, Wisconsin, and Missouri. But some other markets, like yours, probably don't have that issue!
    • Sticky Customers - YES, and leave them flip to the T-Mobile PLMN when needed and they will be even more likely to Stick.
    • It seems to me that if the goal is to improve rural, the US Cellular buy-out would get them only part of the way there, considering there are plenty of rural areas that US Cellular does not serve.  But I also have a hard time reading it the way I think that article is, that the cost of this deal comes straight out of the $9 billion.  I mean, they're getting spectrum for their existing operations in US Cellular markets, including places that I wouldn't call rural.  (Roanoke, VA is the 9th largest city in the state, for example.)  It seems like some of it should be allocated to rural expansion, but certainly not the whole purchase price. There's also something to be said for getting the customer base of potentially sticky customers who have been used to US Cellular being the only game in town for potentially decades. - Trip
    • T-Mobile has stated 15% of their sites don't have 5g triband. In WV I know WISPs had a lot of 2.5GHz, but T-Mobile was trying to buy as much as possible. More rural FWA would be a big selling point that might overcome any soft bandwidth cap slight overages. Especially since UScellular likely started offering it on c-band.
