The Official Birthday Thread

Considering that we have a few birthday posts in the forum, I figured why not start an official one here in the off-topic section.

And as luck would have it, we will start with the thread off with the number one person here in the forums.

Happy Birthday Robert, aka Mr. S4GRU himself.

Congrats on completing another trip around the sun. :P

Hope you have a great day and thanks once again for creating this awesome forum.

And as a Christian, I'm grateful to share my birthday with Easter. My favorite holiday of the year. Although, I prefer fried chicken to ham.

I always thought it ironic that we Christians celebrate Easter with ham. Jesus was Hebrew and did not partake in swine. It would be much more appropriate to have lamb. Although, since Jesus is the lamb, that would be like eating the Savior. Hmmm...

Maybe we should just fast for Easter?

LOL

Thanks for the birthday wishes. You guys are great! It's the sense of community that makes it all worthwhile! I have gained so many friends through S4GRU. I have no idea where all if this goes in the future. But for now I will enjoy the ride.

Happy Birthday Robert!

I echo others comments. Thank you for all of your hard work. While I personally, don't post much, I have learned so much from you and the other members of this great site.

While, honestly, some of the technical language is a little beyond me, I can say, I have started learning some of that took.

Anyways, Happy Birthday Robert, and Happy Easter too!

Thank you for all you and your staff do to make this a Great Site!

ENJOY THE BIRTHDAY! Wish I could air deliver some good southern cookin' there for your birthday. No one should have to choose between Chicken and Ham. Earlier today I had the chicken, ham, roast and a big fat portion of mac n cheese, turnip greens, baked beans and field peas.

The part I miss the most from my 7 years living in the South is the cuisine. Emmm.

    • Interesting, I saw this too on my AT&T S22 while roaming on US Cellular. I thought it was an Android bug since CellMapper was doing the same thing (didn't get a screenshot of that one). N66 makes more sense than N1.
    • Thanks, that was good timing, I did see your report as I was buttoning up this latest update and added an override for that.. did it not work?   Ok, was that on AT&T also? Please send a report if you happen to see it again and safely have the opportunity. You can always do the long-press on the fly and then send a later one with an explanation pointing to the earlier one.. your username is attached to the long-press reports, so it's not an issue.
    • I sent a report in earlier, n66 reporting as n1. There should be two different reports, I couldn't find the button the first time so I just long pressed the connection type to send, then I remembered where it was. I put a note about the issue on the 2nd report. Both reports from me are for the same issue. Also, it might have been on a prior release but earlier this week I also saw n66 reported as n65 on the app. I was driving and wasn't able to send a report in for that one.
    • One more SCP beta rolling out.. includes more bugfixes and minor improvements. Pending any major issues with this version, it will be released to the public within a few days. Thanks for all the help and feedback!
    • Passed by the former Sprint site at 1184 60th St in Brooklyn last week and noticed T-Mobile took down all of the Sprint equipment but it looked like they installed some new cabinets so conversion is likely in progress.
