Network Vision/LTE - North Wisconsin Market (Wausau/Green Bay/Appleton)

I did a bunch of sensorly mapping yesterday that is starting to show now.  The summary is LTE is up throughout the Southeast side of Appleton from 441 to Oneida St.   Today I'm seeing improved speedtests as well, so it looks like Sprint is still making changes.  All in all some very welcome news.  Been waiting a long time, but it looks the the wait is nearing an end.

Getting small hints of it at home hear 41 and Hazelwood. D/L around .80 Meg. Nothing great but at least it's getting closer. Hopeful they fire something up around Lambeau before Sunday so some type of service is useable!

Manitowoc is seeing 4g. I have it at work where I have never had it. Also 1x800 is working in Manitowoc and Two Rivers.

1x800 has been accepted for almost two months now (can't say if it was broadcasting), I did notice the first LTE acceptance within the last week.

Best I've seen is a 17.52 down near Home Depot on the south side of Appleton.  I've been noticing overall speed improvements when connected to the existing LTE towers and a lot of 4G to 3G back to 4G on some of the other towers.  All in all I'd say a sign of continuing work.

A large majority of the sites in the Green Bay/ Appleton area have been NV 3g completed.  This should take care or the CSFB issues that have been happening with the tri-band devices.  According to what I read in this thread: http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/5001-tri-band-lteecsfb-issues-thread/

Are they still working on towers in this area or have they stopped for the winter? It seems an 80 mile stretch of I-39 only has one 4g tower done back in June. Ever since that one tower lit up the one south of it has had problems as I only get 1x now for the last six months. I thought at first they were just working on the tower and it would be upgraded soon but no progress in months has me wondering am I stuck with 1x until next summer. I would be happy if I just had good 3g back.

Anybody know what's going on with Oshkosh? Is there any 4G live there yet, because Sprint updated their map on the 10th and Waupaca/New London is marked but everything from Weyauwega down to Oshkosh is still "technically" 3G?

There is some LTE active in Oshkosh. Sponsors can see the exact towers that are active.

I would recommend checking out Sensorly. They show the LTE coverage reported by users, even in areas where Sprint hasn't formally launched LTE service.

Sorry I worded that wrong... I wondering if there has been any new 4G and if they turned on more towers than what was on.

My bad. But yes, I do use sensorly often and map as much of what I can. That is when I remember to!
