  1. Oct 2nd pegged for Sprint to get the Note 3 according to IBT but i'll believe it when i see it. TS
  2. IBT states that Sprint is getting the Note 3 on Oct 2nd but I can't help to think its too soon. Especially since it came from a rep but eh, I'll take the date. Source TS out
  3. Members, pardon my editing of your posts, but if the offending members' post was removed/hidden, then the quote of that members post should also be hidden. Therefore i edited them out of your quotes. Hope you understand. TS out
  4. Thanks :Looks like the Sprint version of the Note 3 has hit the FCC.
  5. okay, Added a few columns to the spreadsheet. --1 additional column for the device/model number along side the device name. --3 additional columns that have links (X's) that lead to either the device website either at the manufacturers, phonearenas, or Sprint website. (or all three) The only model numbers i were not able to locate are for the HTC 8XT, Novatel MiFi, Blackberry Q10, HTC One SV LTE, The latest devices such as the Galaxy Mega, Galaxy Note 3, SPH-L520, LG820, LG D820 don't have official pages yet. The same goes for all other devices beyond those listed with a NA as a year date. TS out (putting fingers on ice)
  6. Although Best Buy is offering $262 for the Note 2 via a gift card (top value), I usually go through Sprint anyway. TS
  7. I always did like HTC phones, but my Note 2 I really love and although the signal the Note 2 gets is very good I assume the Note 3 will be the same or better. So once the Note 3 is out and the HTC One Max I am sure between AJ's excellent synopsis, anandtechs' review as well as Lisa' mobiletech reviews I am sure we can get a good feeling as to the devices signal capturing capabilities. 8. Quick, remove all references to isaiah in the Sponsor section, what are you waiting for man, don't stop, Defcon 1 go go go repeat Defcon 1 Just playing with you isaiah. (or am I) muwhahahahahaha TS out (helping AJ in the Sponsor section)
  9. Don't recall seeing this topic so here goes. Seems that Softbank has added another member to the Sprint Board of Directors. Sara Martinez Tucker previously of AT&T, currently CEO of the National Math + Science Initiative See full article here. That leaves still two vacant seats left to fill. TS out
  10. Topic created in Sponsors area (for those that want to post there). TS out
  11. Okay okay give me a minute TS out (taking two minutes instead)
  12. maybe start one in that section too. TS
  13. MY EYES, THE BURN, AARRGGHHHH Just joking. Of course, another perfectly good thread destroyed by going off topic. Just like old times. Actually I was looking forward to seeing the folks behind the masks. Oh well. Carry on. TS out (finding my camera)
  14. I only wished they would have used the knuckle of the middle finger instead of a thumb/finger for the fingerprint scanner. It would have been so much better. Anyway back on topic, a few months ago in the areas I go to throughout the city it seemed that wimax was faster, but lately its the other way around that i hardly need to bring my Tri-Fi unit with me and just use the Note 2. In fact the other day my home wifi (via Verizon Fios) was spotty at best (which is odd since they are usually good) but I had to take it off and just use LTE on my phone. TS
  15. i plan on getting it, but side note, the docks are still huge. The device has gotten slender yet the dock is still the size of Godzilla. TS
  16. I did and I just got a reply from their Facebook page that the cradle will be available from Sprint soon. TS
  17. I currently have a dock for my Tri-Fi unit and do plan on getting the Netgear Zing but nowhere is the dock for it available, not at Sprint nor Netgear, nada, zip. aarrgghh [rant mode: ON] Why do these manufacturers and carriers continue to offer products and either do not have the accessories for it available or none at all. [Rant mode: OFF] Seems they show it off at their facebook page. TS
  18. Wish Sprint would let us know what version, but knowing their past history it would probably be only 32GB. TS
  19. because they want to get it right the second time around and not give you crappy service. Bottom line, who knows what lurks in the minds of Sprint decision makers. It is what it is. TS
  20. Yeah Hawaii has a Disney resort minus the rides lol When they made the announcement a few years back I was like cool, but when it only involves a resort of hotels and nothing like the other resorts with attractions and rides on the mainland I was like WTF? Anyway, Hawaii getting LTE will be a slow and long process, like some have mentioned everything goes through the port in Honolulu and everything is slower than some are used to. It is what it is. TS
  21. Yeah it seems that lately more sites are getting LTE in both the city and Long Island, at least in the areas I visit of late. TS
  22. Speaking of stats, I used to keep the number of phones that Sprint deployed each month/year but stopped doing it last year. Here is the doc. If you see the months that Sprint spits out the most phones/devices is both April and Nov. and the most deployed year was 2011 with 32 devices. (But thats not counting 2012 which is when i stopped doing the updates) maybe I should start updating that list too. TS
