  1. Thank you very much and welcome! THE Philly market seems to have the least users on this forum considering its size.
  2. I just looked it up, they carry 61 billion in long term debt. I realize Sprint carries ~20 billion and is a smaller company but Sprint also doesn't have the pension liabilities, wireline expenses, etc. that ATT has.
  3. ATT carries a huge amount of debt on their balance sheet and continues to add to it.
  4. At least Sprint has ESMR licenses here. Gives them a leg up on Big Red. Along this vein, do you think that people give too little credit to the Nextel merger based on these low frequency licenses? Perhaps they weren't worth 36 billion but still highly valuable.
  5. That's right by Wawa's corp HQ. I love Wawa... When I moved to Harrisburg, it made me so sad only Sheetz is in my area. Back to topic, thanks for the heads up. Hopefully someone can map sensorly soon!
  6. Of course it can be frustrating. All we can offer you here is the information that Sprint is putting all of its resources into modernizing its network. No one will try to change your mind or beg you to stay but good things are coming and for many of us, it already has.
  7. Generally, if you need to state you're not anti-Sprint... You may be coming off just that way.
  8. I have always thought that the FCC has a soft spot for Sprint due to the BS they put them through with rebanding and the fact that the Softbank deal is the only real viable opportunity for a threat to VZ/T.
  9. It'd be funny if he actually was stealing all the phones.
  10. Oh, this is definitely family. lol
  11. Maximum theoretical speed is around 35mb/s... so from there on down. EDIT - To be specific 37.5.
  12. Agreed, came in here to say this. You can even see this with some of the hotspots Clear offers. MUCH different than an EVO4G for reception.
  13. Easiest way is to click "Map Trip" and it will show you the data points it is mapping.
  14. I'm glad you have a realistic view of 3G speeds in saturated areas. Even on NV upgraded 3G, there are so many users in dense cities like Allentown that you're not going to see 2+mb/s speeds at peak times. Now obviously once that 10mhz chunk is turned on for LTE, you can support many more users which should be right around the corner seeing how far they've progressed.
  15. Good to hear of improved speeds in Allentown. Bethlehem speeds were similar and recently have been improved as sites have come online there. I've seen quite a few sites in Allentown with new panels so speeds should definitely start improving as backhaul is in place.
  16. Shentel has a flag pole site near me with the panels actually mounted on the sides. I thought this odd since these are "stealth" sites but the panels arent actually hidden.
  17. If I'm not mistaken those are only rf transmit numbers which have no bearing on receive strength, correct?
  18. I agree that because of the CLWR deal, it is unlikely Sprint would have a foot to stand on in arguing they should divest.
  19. I'm sure the 2100 mhz downlink in AWS is to blame for that.
  20. Oh wow, I'm assuming this was ever since Sprint released the "revamped" site?
  21. Previously network.sprint.com only showed Sprint corporate upgrades. There was never any updates shown for Shentel areas which is how I first came to realize Shentel was Shentel and not Sprint. I now see Shentel upgrades are showing on the network site which is very nice to see. Am I the last one to realize this!?!? Also, the "data speed upgrades" definitely coincide with the LTE updated towers.
