  1. I-15 between Las Vegas and Los Angeles is okay, small drops but 1x800 helped a lot to increase coverage. LTE has yet t be deployed and I hope it happens soon.
  2. Is there a list which shows OEM per market?
  3. The Sprint store was mostly frequented by iDEN customers and they always had the best service for iDEN devices. CDMA was never a big deal because I remember the times when you heard the Nextel chirp everywhere. I used to get service at Dorians just fine.
  4. Max speed I was able to get on the strip, running speed tests between MGM and SLS are 35MB max download. This looks pretty standard for one carrier B41 in Las Vegas with 5x5 backhaul
  5. Well the Strip is long and it all depends. I have seen speeds between zero to max of 35 MB down. Sprint really needs to get the backhaul issue fixed.
  6. B26 is needed to get into the Casinos but I was very disappointed because Sprint worked so well during CES and at NAB the entire network was mostly down to 3G in areas that had very good 4G B41 coverage.
  7. Shit call Boomer and let Operation Canadian Bacon commence. But honestly, we should give them Montana and take BC in return. I rather see a connection with Alaska to serve us better.
  8. And it was not worth it. If I want somebody run, I watch a marathon or CNN coverage from what ever city people riot in today. Speeds at time dropped to .2MB which is very bad for B41! Where? Like Verizon and their AWS spectrum, not seen any live site in Vegas yet but I have seen them blasting in places like Bakersfield (which is a waste because farm aninmals don't need data - oh wait, there was the Antennalob from Nextel)
  9. LOL, missing are San Francisco, San Jose, Las Vegas... all airports with bad Sprint coverage because no DAS
  10. Meanwhile, B41 speed suffers and Wimax looks like Road Runner again . I am currently around the MGM for the fight and speeds really dropped on B41
  11. 8T8R markets like Las Vegas seem to be extremely slow and I have never seen speeds past 35MB down. Back home in my home market, I am correct to a Clearwire B41 site and enjoy peaks of 60MB+ down. Not sure why Sprint never asked for more bandwidth? I have seen b41 speeds drop even lower and it makes WiMax look like road runner. AT&T used to offer Satellite Service (OSS) with TerreStar. It was a great device, but Dish shut the service off T-Mobile is a joke in so many areas in Las Vegas. Fast one block and super slow at the next.
  12. Coverage is good but it seems we need an additional upgrade soon in Las Vegas. I travel to Vegas every week for work and the network has been slow lately. Not sure why but we need some 2nd carrier love
  13. B26 is already alive around the airport (switches for me between B26/B41 - needs a DAS). I also have seen it along the 87.
  14. I was really disappointed because the network performance was not good at all. Verizon was actually much better as during CES, T-Mobile was a hit and miss while AT&T worked at slow speeds. Clearwire's network worked without any issues (LV is not a conversion market). During CES, Sprint's LTE B41 network was working so well but the same areas that enjoyed coverage before saw mostly 1x speeds or nothing. At times, 1x voice was the only available option.
  15. Coverage was pretty bad this year during NAB especially in South Hall (Upper and lower level), because the Sprint DAS that was working just fine during CES was down most of the time. On Monday service was mostly 1x and LTE was not available as soon you stepped into the building,
  16. Is the International Roaming available to current customers for free too? I can't find any answers on that new Sprint website which is pretty bad.
  17. Idk but B41/B25 along First Street in Tustin is very weak. There is a Clear tower in a church bell tower about 1/2 mile south of this location. Drove by today and it could coinside with the renovation of the office building. Still I find it funny that they kept the old Nextel paint job ob the trailer and never went Sprint all the way.
  18. I was driving yesterday along Tustin Road x First Street and noticed a 2nd set of antennas (Verizon put up a temporary container with antenna tower) that looked temporary. To my surprise I found a Nextel Cow still running as you can see on the pictures below. Now I am sure this is not an iDen cow but more like a zombie CDMA/LTE B25 site.
  19. The logo needs a makeover too.
  20. Just wait until the network loads up. We have seen this with Verizon, in the beginning speeds that were insane at the time and now it's like B25 at times.
  21. You see them a lot in many urban areas but I noticed more and more FreedomPOP hotspots being used.
  22. Not sure how many areas are effected but I can't connect to data in Las Vegas at all on B41. My LG G3 will not move off B41 but can't connect. B25 seems to work at times on a single band handset but speeds are super slow
  23. I liked the Clear coverage map and wish that Sprint would use this format.
