  1. Will be in Milport next week, I'm hoping for great LTE speeds! [or any cell coverage from any company atleast]
  2. I have put a sprint SIM in a GSM only phone, nothing works, but the phone number is shown in the status.
  3. Get the moto x Monday. https://plus.google.com/+Motorola/posts/7pBuo1GaxKu
  4. I'd rather that they break out roaming vs non-roaming before breaking out the frequencies companies use.
  5. We were worried, *phew*. Whats for lunch?
  6. Do this do that do more of this do that with a little more this, right. The problem is that Sprint didn't complete the first step and they're already on step four. They should be walking before they go running. The survey is about customer satisfaction, if they aren't happy, they aren't happy. Want customer stories about not being happy, head over to Reddit. Some sound like actual problems, not just uneducated whining. http://www.reddit.com/r/sprint
  7. yep, got in on a 2012 n7 and the n4 yesterday. The 2012 n7 is still slow and laggy, junk tablet. The n4 is still nice and zippy. For 4.4 you need to update the app ops. Install this and save your battery, disable location/wake lock on many apps. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.findsdk.apppermission
  8. So you're guaranteed the quality of the screen not to change, junk from day one. The same people get phone insurance too, got to pay that extra $10 per month plus $150 deductible for the $200 phone.
  9. Why can't you use google voice, not integrated, but using it for voicemail?
  10. The transcriptions are are sometimes funny. It is a very basic app, doesn't integrate that well. I like the app because it notifies me of a voicemail when I'm without any cell coverage, I can play the voicemail back without any cell coverage too. I like it because I can use it with multiple cell phone numbers from different providers, they all go to the same voicemail and google voice tells me which number they called.
  11. Why don't you want to use Google Voice, just for your voicemail?
  12. Sprint recompresses images and video. The only way I know how to stop them doing this is to use a VPN on your phone. http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/4057-reason-for-very-low-quality-images/
  13. Sprint shouldn't have even come up with the name Spark, no name is needed, its just another LTE connection on a different set of frequencies. That Spark icon is a big reason we like Nexus devices, less of that junk. They're starting to sound like the T-Mobile CEO with his immature rants.... well not quite.
  14. On another line of a friend. <response serviceTrenderStatus="Success" serviceTrenderMessage="Sprint has recorded some dropped call activity occurring on your line, which may be coverage related. Please check your problem location in the Check Coverage Map feature below. If you would like further support, please call Customer Care for assistance (message 233)." serviceTrenderCode="233" nebStatus="Success"/>
  15. Interesting. serviceTrenderMessage="Sprint has a known issue impacting one of your most used towers. See the Service Alert Details section for more information on the known issue. If you have questions about the known issue or need further support, please call Customer Care for assistance (message 333)." and ticketInformation="Our records indicate that we began our Network Vision upgrade to this tower on Tue, 29 Oct 2013.
  16. This Tylt Vu charger looks good. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2537357
  17. I haven't put my n5 into that mode yet. Here is a map of the LTE so far in this area. http://sensorly.com/fullscreen/map/4G/US/USA/Sprint/lte_310sprint#q=98003
  18. Any idea when the Nexus5's LTE will start working in this area? This is a Samsung market, so the CSFB issue is everywhere here that I have seen, haven't seen LTE since switching from the s3 to the n5. http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/5001-breaking-band-tri-band-lte-ecsfb-issues-thread/page-12&do=findComment&comment=237461
  19. Makes sense, some in my area went back like KZJO Fox 13, but some here didn't.
  20. TMO already owns lots of rural spectrum that it isn't using at all, just like Sprint.
  21. When they were given a second channel for the digital conversion, their license dictated that they give one of them back. Like this one here for KIRO, http://data.fcc.gov/mediabureau/v01/tv/authorization/1115828.pdf I don't know how often they renew them, looks like 5 years. But it looks like a lot of stations decided to keep their new digital channel while having a virtual channel of their old channel. I don't know why, maybe another knows.
  22. https://stations.fcc.gov/station-profile/kfxk-tv Looks like that is really channel 31, and their license expires next year.
