  1. Sprint is trying to master the concept of under promise and over deliver. LTE is starting to go live in the Minnesota market and still Sprint says nothing further. It is all a part of their plan. Robert
  2. The battery life on the Nexus 4 is fantastic in standby mode. It will drop only 25% in a full day of no use. However, battery life while actively using drops faster than any device I've had since the Galaxy Nexus. It's not on par with Sprint LTE devices since the EVO. Definitely a step down. It could be the quad cores, I suppose. It could just be LG. However, the quad cores on the Note 2 feel like they have no effect on battery life. Robert via Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2

  5. Thanks for your report and happy screen shot. That's decent coverage out of just one live site, all things considered. I'm glad ton see things starting to go live in the Minnesota market. Robert via Nexus 7 on Tapatalk
  6. I had to Google that. Robert via Nexus 7 on Tapatalk
  7. No matter if they sign roaming deals or not, Network Vision is a program to upgrade Sprint's entire network and add LTE on every site. Even every site in San Diego and Yuma markets. But currently, no other carrier has deployed LTE 1900 in which Sprint devices run on. US Cellular may add a little in the future. But most of their most likely areas, they just sold to Sprint. AT&T, VZW and Tmo all have some PCS holdings in some markets, but they are being used for other things currently. It will likely be a long time before they refarm any of it to add LTE 1900. LTE roaming of any significance is awhile out. Much farther out than Sprint rebuilding its network. Robert via Nexus 7 on Tapatalk

  9. This is not normal. I have never had this happen with Sprint LTE in my usage. Which market is this occurring? Have you done anything to MOD your device? Robert
  10. Let us known where it is when you find out. It has never appeared in any of our update lists we receive from Sprint. Robert
  11. I live in a high elevation area at the southern tip of the Rockies. Our winters are not better than Indiana by any stretch. But we are much closer to Phoenix when we need a Winter break. Robert
  12. Emmmm...Krystal Burger. *drool* I love eating Krystal when I go back to Florida to visit family. We do not have Krystal or White Castle here in the West. About 10 years ago, Krystal had Vidalia Onion Rings. Those were the best. I was so sad when I was back in Florida in 2008 and they had gotten rid of them. Robert
  13. All of Anne Arundel County is in the Baltimore market. It is not associated with the DC market deployment. The area is actively being deployed. Robert
  14. I had a 1.95Mbps download speed on VZW LTE today at one point with a pretty strong signal. The Upload was 13Mbps at the same exact moment. I turned over to VZW 3G for comparison and pulled down 1.6Mbps DL. Sprint 3G was 900kbps and Tmo HSPA was 1.2Mbps. Robert
  15. I've reported a bug on Tapatalk where I cannot edit my posts anymore if I've quoted someone in it. It says "Qoute Mismatch", even though I did not edit the quote. So now I have to go into Forum Runner to edit my posts. Pain. Robert
  16. Your avatar scared the crap out of me. I'm alone in a dark room, and I click on the link to your post and that picture jumped out of the darkness into my Den. Robert
  17. Whenever you are on a higher floor you are more likely to be above ground clutter and get a signal from a much further site than normal. This happens with all networks, not just Sprint. However, at a higher floor (or elevation), the noise floor your device encounters goes up and will cause performance to drop. Sprint is not doing anything wrong, or is bad, because your signal improves as your elevation increases. When more coverage is added in your area, signal will improve on the lower floors as well. If Sprint doesn't meet your needs, why don't you try AT&T? I'm sure they will treat you real good. Please stop trolling our forums. Robert
  18. A new site appeared on Sensorly between Maple Grove and Corcoran, right where it was shown on our NV Sites Complete map. Robert
  19. There is no general time. Between all markets, we have seen it happen at any time of day or night. Every site is different, it seems. No pattern at all. Robert
  20. We will never get that kind of range out of a PCS LTE site in Northern New Mexico. So there are a few advantages to living in Indiana, after all. Robert
  21. Find the site you were connected to and take some pictures of the panels. We will be able to confirm for you whether NV is started or not. However, I think it will be closer to Spring before they start the Colorado market. But there have been a few surprises in the past few months, so I won't rule anything out. Robert
