    Pixel 4/4XL

First Pixel device im somewhat excited about in a quite a while..
  2. Tim YuSprint 4G Rollout UpdatesTuesday, May 7, 2019 - 12:00 PM PDT For weeks, rumors have been circulating that Verizon's carrier exclusivity deal to sell Google Pixel devices was ending and other carriers, such as Sprint, will offer them in addition to direct sales from Google. S4GRU has been able to attain information that this is indeed correct and that Sprint will soon be selling Pixel 3, Pixel 3XL, Pixel 3a, and Pixel 3a XL devices. [Google has has announced that Sprint, in addition to other carriers, are selling the device. Source.] Sprint's internal systems have been updated
  3. Only specs I've really seen leaked are 5.7" screen and based on the unannounced "Mate 8" model. From http://www.breathecast.com/articles/nexus-2015-rumors-news-leaked-video-reveals-specs-of-purported-2015-huawei-nexus-video-30407/ The Mate 7 had a 4100+mah battery, speculation is that this could have the same or bigger. Anything passed through the FCC for a US and/or Sprint version that covers the Spark bands? I'm in the market for a new phone this fall and will be going off contract, buying a Nexus.
  4. The rumor mill has fully geared up, so it seems time for a thread in which the potential HTC-made 2016 Nexus phones can be discussed. Rumors suggest two phones: a 5" device codenamed Sailfish, and a larger device codenamed Marlin. Both are thought to be produced by HTC. [There's also a report that Google is making its own phone, without an OEM partner--along the lines of a Pixel phone--but that report has been largely discounted.] Android Police has claimed it knows with 8/10 certainty some specs of the smaller device--Sailfish: Manufactured by HTC 5" 1080p display (~440PPI) Quad-core
  5. Had not seen a thread for this yet, I see some definite consumer advantages with Sprint's Network combined with TMob and Wi-fi. I have had many Nexus devices and I love my Nexus 6, although it is a bit big. The price is good for the service. ($20 / unl talk/txt, $10/gb) I hope the technical aspects work as they propose. I am a Google Voice Number user and love the "Any device" call capability and use it on my Tablet, Chromebook and phone. I rarely actually answer my Phone at the house. Answer the tablet or Chromebook..... I love Sprint's network, the upgrades they are putting forth
  6. It's official: Google Fiber is coming to Austin. AT&T has also said that, provided they get the same incentives that Google does, they'll run gigabit as well. I trust AT&T about as far as I can throw one of their VRADs, but we'll see what happens between now and when Google connects its first customer, over a year from now.
  7. So much for that marriage... http://news.cnet.com/8301-1023_3-57618023-93/googles-motorola-may-be-sold-to-lenovo-for-$3b/
  8. I think this has been mentioned/discussed, but I couldn't find a topic on it... Is anyone else experiencing incredibly slow response/download from Google services on Sprint LTE? With a very stable LTE signal, I can try to update an app from the play store or download an email attachment and it is like my data is flowing over the 1X voice channel. I'm currently updating the MaaS360 app that I have to use for my Corp email and with 8% downloaded in about 7 minutes, it says I have 41minutes left and that is going up. I try to get pictures that my wife sends me of the kids, 1-3 MB and they

    X Phone

Google and Motorola are working on a new phone called the X Phone. http://www.technobuffalo.com/2012/12/21/google-x-phone/
  10. Just found this article on CNET. http://news.cnet.com/8301-1035_3-57526808-94/google-lg-to-unveil-nexus-phone-at-the-end-of-the-month/ I have never been a fan on LG. What do you think? -Luis
  11. There is a new Galaxy S4 from Google just announced at I/O today! Coming June 26th for 649.99! But only on AT&T and T-Mobile. No CDMA, just GSM/WCDMA and LTE.
  12. http://bgr.com/2013/04/18/google-ceo-unbreakable-motorola-phones-448763/ When asked about hints on upcoming products during an earnings call with investors on Thursday, Page said that “when you drop your phone, it shouldn’t shatter.” Page went on to say that he had “just seen Motorola’s upcoming products” and was “pretty enthusiastic” about their “real potential to invent new and better experiences.”

  14. They are known as Google Doodlers, a mix of mostly twenty-something artists and engineers whose sole job it is is to create small works of art that we forget about when we wake up the next day. http://www.technobuffalo.com/2013/03/08/google-doodles-team/ http://www.cbsnews.com/8301-505263_162-57573229/googles-doodler-team-how-artists-engineers-remake-internet-giants-logo/
  15. "It seems that Android Police got hold of documents from Qualcomm (QCOM) earlier this week showing that next major version of Android, dubbed Key Lime Pie, will launch sometime this spring." http://bgr.com/2013/...ie-leak-314118/
  16. Google released 4.2.1 to fix bugs. Wonder what version will be released for EVO LTE? http://bgr.com/2012/11/27/android-4-2-1-update-google/
  17. Google is extending free GMAIL voice calling through 2013! http://gmailblog.blogspot.com/?utm_source=us-en-gmnav&utm_medium=et&utm_content=gmnav
  18. Has anyone downloaded Google Maps yet? If you haven't, I suggest it. It is actually pretty awesome. I think it is better than the Google Maps that was on my OG EVO.
  19. To all, I sent this to HTC so that they could try and see what they are doing wrong. I had originally just gone to their site to write about the EVO LTE, LTE issues but this is what poured out of me when I started writing! LOL If you don't like rants of suggestions move on, but if you see what I see, if you feel as I feel, and if you would seek as I seek, then I ask you to stand beside me one year from tonight, outside the gates of Parliament... Crap... V for vendetta (Best Movie Ever) taking over again! LOL! I suggest everyone on this forum, who has an HTC phone (or not), go to the HTC websit
  20. Wow, this is a crazy story of how an entire digital identity was taken over and deleted just to get a twitter handle and spew crap from it. This guy lost everything because of poor security practices on his accounts and via Amazon and Apple support. I suggest that you update your Google account to require two factor authentication (and Facebook if you use that too) to protect your online identity. How Apple and Amazon Security Flaws Led to My Epic Hacking http://www.wired.com/gadgetlab/2012/08/apple-amazon-mat-honan-hacking/all/
