  1. Since the Flint site has not been accepted yet, do not be surprised if it goes away. But definitely enjoy it and map out while it's live! Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  2. Yea, they were in todays update in the Sponsor section. They were completed on Friday. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  3. Check the latest update that posted a half hour ago. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  4. Officer Friendly Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  5. No Flint in this weeks update. But do have some In Progress sites there being added. Most likely some testing. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  6. Us either. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  7. We will use gas fired ground heaters here in New Mexico when the ground is frozen and we have to dig for really urgent work. We are using one now up in Los Alamos on a project. Where do we get these heaters? Minnesota, of course. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  8. I don't think that the FCC will even consider leased EBS spectrum against Clearwire ever. If you think about it, they do not own it. They may not even be able to keep it past the terms of the lease. And everybody has a chance to get it when it comes back up for renewal. And the lessor may not even allow it to be renewed. How can you hold that spectrum against Sprint or Clearwire? You can't. It's not even theirs. They borrow it, with recurring costs for a limited time with no guarantee of it being there in the future. The FCC should only consider BRS spectrum assets that Clearwire owns when discussing spectrum assets. And if the FCC disagrees about the value and usefulness of EBS spectrum, Clearwire should divest all of it. And see what happens to it. Nothing. The schools will just lose a revenue source and the spectrum will go back to being idle like before Clearwire started leasing it. When it comes to leased spectrum, the lessor owns it. Not the lessee. 9. My lowest Tmo HSPA+ pings are 150-200ms. They are most often 200-500ms. Sometimes they are 900-1200ms. I once had a 16Mbps DL on Tmo with a 1000ms ping. That just blows your mind. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD

  11. Also, if you are in a launched market, have good LTE signal strength and speeds significantly below Sprints advertised 6-8Mbps for more than a couple of days, then you shoukd call Sprint and open up a ticket. Obviously there is a problem. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  12. In places with a very good signal, yes. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  13. Deployment is nowhere near done in Houston and density will get thicker and thicker this year. This will allow for better performance. However, Houston will likely have some of the most saturated LTE 1900, because Sprint does not have a lot of spectrum in this market. There is no additional PCS spectrum to deploy on, really. LTE 800 and LTE 2600 will be desperately needed for the long term viability of the LTE network in Houston. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  14. I'm sorry, but you're the first person to complain of such widespread LTE issues all over Houston, systemically. I've not heard one peep of this problem other than the problem reported here initially. Which was likely a temporary network problem. Maybe you have a device problem? I had an issue with my Verizon HTC Rezound where it would no longer do MIMO, and my download speeds dropped dramatically. However, upload speeds were not affected. But also, I have a long memory. And I remember all your anti-Sprint rants since Houston deployment started. So I'm not sure what to read into your latest posts. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD

  16. Not really. Samsung has brought 3G up in clusters all over the island since the beginning. This is the last 3G cluster outside the metro area. Now the whole island has at least 3G upgrades outside San Juan. And about 1/3 of San Juan metro has been 3G completed. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  17. I roam on Cricket occasionally here in New Mexico. Their EVDO typically runs 200k-600kbps. I've never seen it over 1Mbps. Coverage is horrible. Cricket customers run on Sprint network as native coverage when outside Cricket coverage areas, because Leap has a MVNO agreement with Sprint. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD

  19. You likely had a pretty weak LTE signal. http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/2040-bars-lie-for-lte-signal-strength-how-to-determine-your-actual-lte-signal-strength/ Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  20. Sprint showed two COWs mobilized in the update. One at the Mall, and one near the capitol. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  21. Yes indeed. Apple maps show airport in a purple color pretty similar to Sensorly. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  22. Yes. This is true of the stock EVO, but I wasn't sure if CM10 changed this menu screen. Robert via Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
  23. I have not tried CDMA Field Test yet with LTE since they did their update to include that functionality. I do not know of a CM10 workaround. However, I think CM10 actually shows LTE signal strength in bars in the indicator. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  24. You can say that, yet it happens. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
