  1. There is no answer to your question. Each site comes live one at a time the moment it is ready. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  2. I'm getting less optimistic for February with every passing day. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  3. I think we are finding that data speed upgrade sometimes means the site has new backhaul, but it is not being connected to the legacy side. Just waiting for NV equipment to hook it up to. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  4. Yep. Direct communicators. That's pretty much how I see it. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  5. You said, warrants warranty. That's awesome. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  6. I have heard of stores replacing phones where LTE was active in the market but not at the store. It doesn't have to be verified in the store, you just got to make sure the customer is not an idiot and just wasn't in a non coverage area or had their LTE turned off. It certainly helps if they have had two Sprint LTE devices side by side and couldn't get service on the offending device. It just takes the store asking the right questions to discern if there really is a device problem. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  7. This is not a question that can be answered. Sanford is part of the Orlando market. The entire Orlando market is being upgraded. They go to each site when everything is ready and start work. There are likely already sites in Sanford in various stages of upgrade. The moment the first Sanford site completes and passes inspection, it will go live. If someone gives you a date, they are a fool, charlatan or a liar. Because it would require a crystal ball. Someone may be able to tell you the day they were scheduled to be done. Even I have that info. However, it really depends on how things go at the site. Equipment delays, backhaul delays, weather delays, worker speed, logistics, and then when they are done they have to pass inspection from local authorities and then pass testing and inspection from Sprint. No one knows when a site is going to be live with any certainty. When service comes to Sanford, it will first be only one site. And then in a few weeks, maybe another. As each site is accepted, Sprint allows its customers to use it. This is a good thing, as most carriers will wait until the whole city was done months later before allowing anyone to use the new network. There is currently a site live on the other side of the lake on the east side of Oviedo. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  8. If you can send or post the pictures, I can add these as In Progress. Thanks. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  9. Delays? They had 30 sites completed last week. That's pretty impressive. Don't forget that San Diego is an Alcatel Lucent market. AlcaLu tends to only bring online the 3G side of a completed NV site in the beginning of deployment. Around 3-6 months of work, they start to bring up the LTE side of completed sites. It's just the way they roll. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  10. In don't expect any sites live in OKC for at least 60 days. We haven't had any reports of sites In Progress yet, nor any field reports from members. They may only be working on GMO sites first (Ground Mount Option), as they are faster and easier to install. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  11. I've heard work recently started in this market. This market has a lot of GMO sites (Ground Mounted RRUs). This work tends to go faster. We probably will start having some In Progress and possibly even accepted sites in the next month or so. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  12. When I think about the money we have spent bailing out companies since early 2008, we could have had a nationwide fiber network to every building in the country. Then the government can lease it out to any company, competitively, so any provider can offer service over it. I bet it could even pay for itself in a few years. The internet should be treated like highways. And if there is a way to privatize access and make money, even better. So long as no one gets unfair access and dominate control. 13. I have been a victim of links with punctuation directly after them. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  14. Yes, but only because the deals are combined for FCC approval. Now it is a Softbank/Clearwire/Sprint application. And I think you're right. If Ergen has reasonable requests, I think Sprint/Softbank will make a deal with him and this all goes away. But I think Mr. Son will not stand to be bullied by Ergen. He may indeed rue this decision. 15. As David pointed out above, you misunderstood the post. Obviously lack of coverage would not be an issue for warranty replacement. But if your device is defective and will not connect to LTE that is live, that would be cause for warranty replacement. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  16. It could have been said nicer, but it is true. Plus, I've grown accustomed to the direct manner in which New Yorkers speak. Or type, in this instance. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  17. The FCC just does not get involved with the financial aspects of deals. Although, this latest argument from DISH is their best strategy to upset the apple cart. Saying that that Sprint/Clearwire application to the FCC is premature because there is an active counter offer that is in play, and Sprint may not even end up the final purchaser of Clearwire. But if you think about it, that is true of any merger or buyout of a public company. Someone can always come along and try to offer more money, even after filings have been made with regulators. So DISH making an offer should not be enough in its own to stop the process. It would set a dangerous precedent. Now any company who just wants to delay and damage their competition, can just make a counter offer, even if there is no way it can possibly be accepted by shareholders and approved by regulators. But it could delay things for months, or even years. The FCC should not concern itself with DISH's bid for Clearwire. They should approve or reject the Sprint proposal on its merits, and making their decision contingent on the closing of the deal. If Sprint cannot close the deal with Clearwire because a DISH offer is accepted, then the status quo can be maintained. If Sprint closes the deal on Clearwire, then the FCC approvals and conditions take effect. Pretty easy in my mind. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD

I'd say mine comes to life once or twice an hour. It goes back to sleep in 30 seconds or so. It's frequency doesn't bother me. At night, mine is in Alarm Clock mode. So it is on all night long. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  20. It will come. More and more sites will be added every week. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  21. I was able to figure it out easy. However, I worked until 2am last night and slept in this morning. I upgraded you as soon as I woke up. Thanks for supporting S4GRU. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD

  23. Weak LTE may be slower than an excellent 3G site (which is not common), but weak LTE is better than 3G in most of my experiences. In all my LTE testing, I would still get 1-4Mbps with a weak LTE signal. It's been hard for me to get under 1 meg, because when the signal is that weak, it's almost impossible to stay connected. 24. They are not necessarily further along. Also, Kingman and Havasu are in the Vegas market. Consider this...Kingman has less than 10 sites. Phoenix has hundreds of sites. If they both started the same day, Kingman would be done in a few months. At the same time, Phoenix wouldn't even be a quarter done. So in this scenario, it Kingman would be announced much farther in advance than Phoenix. We have watched this same scenario occur in dozens of markets. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
